"The Yumini offers a large choice of Sushi and Grill dishes. You order on an I-pad 5 items, either sushi, meat, soup, noodles, vegetables, or drinks. After every other 15 minutes you are clear to continue with another order, always 5 items at a time....It is like a buffet coming to your table. The food is fresh and tasty, At the Yumini you avoid the type of asian buffet where food can sit for a while in the trays and get stale and loses flavor. Service is very friendly and very fast. There is a flat rate of 24 Euros p.p. for all you can eat. Drinks are extra of course. It is great to have such a variety of food, and as the portions are small you can try a lot of different stuff. As there are very few places in Siegen to eat the Yumini is definetely a good choice. In case you are not into sushi, don't worry. There are many warm dishes of meat, and poultry, kimchi, salads, etc. Highly recommended."

"Das Essen der Service einfach perfekt die Portionen waren reichhaltig und hat alles super geschmeckt das Tzatziki war selbst gemacht und hat super lecker geschmeckt wir waren auf jeden Fall nicht das letzte Mal dort und kommen gerne wieder. Das Personal ist zudem sehr freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Für uns war diese Portion zu viel man kann es aber auf Wunsch dort einpacken lassen für zu Hause."

"Unfortunately, like all other restaurant chains in Siegen, the cafe del sol does not really convince with special features.Foreway is to say that the retaurant is definitely clean and tidy!There are enough seats, both inside and outside. outside you sit very cozy, inside it is very loud, similar to a train station lobby. the offer is diverse: under the week breakfast a la card, at the weekend buffet. cake, sweet food, noodles, salads, pizzas, carving, etc. the breakfast was delicious. you have to stand on baking rolls and finished products from the package. big plus point: at the buffet there is a cook that composes the dish on your own request and cries. the drink card is huge and leaves not to be desired! the carvings are very fat-soaked. salate have always been super.:) unfortunately, the portions and their partly lack of fresh / quality are not in the container to the high passes. you should have been there to eat the legendary sauce "del sol" (hollondaise with sambal cream). At first I was happy to be there, meanwhile I put more value on fresh and quality. try it out :)."

"Regarding Turkish food I like Iskender (beef slices with tomato, bread and yogurt). When walking through the streets of Siegen on the lookout for a nice restaurant, (we had a planned stop-over in Siegen) we encountered the restaurant "Istanbul Sofra". At first sight the restaurant looks like a fast food joint (it has a take-away counter) but it is a full service restaurant with a splendid space at the river with outdoor tables. As obviously the restaurant was frequented by people with Turkish roots, we decided to join and try the Iskender. I can say the Iskender was very tasty, prepared with quality beef and as the weather was splendid, we had a good time. Prices are moderate, but the service was a bit bumbling. Imagine the had to tell us they ran out of tea! In a Turkish restaurant! But generally speaking Istanbul Sofra has earned my four point rating. Well done."

"Das Paradies ist ein Geheimtipp in der Siegener Gastronomie, was auch an der Lage abseits der Hauptstraßen und Innenstadtlagen liegt. Die Inneneinrichtung bietet eine Art Zeitreise in vergangene Jahrzehnte, als dort noch ein bürgerliches Lokal war, nennen wir es mal Retrocharme . Die Speisen sind im Normalfall von guter Qualität und bieten ein angemessenes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Im Lauf der letzten zwölf Jahre habe ich auch schon mal schwache Tage erlebt, an denen ein Gericht nicht optimal gelungen ist, doch der Grundstandard ist gut genug, immer wieder dort hinzugehen. Was mir besonders gefällt: Es gibt den besten Beilagensalat, welchen ich in Siegen kenne! Es wird Kopfsalat statt der sonst üblichen Eisbergsalate verwendet, die Dressings sind einfach aber lecker und eine unberechnete Portion Brot ist nahezu bei jedem Salat, Fleisch- oder Nudelgericht inbegriffen. Sehr empfehlenswert sind auch die Vorspeisen, welche teils schon echte Sattmacher sind! Der sommerliche Biergarten auf der hauseigenen Wiese ist ein weiterer Grund für mich, dass Paradies immer wieder zu besuchen. Hervorheben möchte ich insbesondere den wirklich immer sehr freundlichen Service. Auch wenn es gelegentlich einmal einen Abrutscher gegeben hat, das Paradies hat mir über mehr als ein Jahrzehnt immer eine gute Grundqualität zu sehr moderaten Preisen geboten. Es ist immer wieder eine gute, familiengeführte Alternative zu den sonst vorherrschenden Franchises der Systemgastronomie!"
