"Went for the Easter hunt and children loved it. Went with 2 friends and 7 children so takes a lot to keep them amused. Animals are good and enough activities posted around to keep the children entertained. Zip wire and trampolines are great. Food was lovely and a great sharing platter for the children with ham, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber and crisps. Very reasonable prices too, no entry fee and food was only £30 for all 10 of us. Will definitely be back."

These are the best scones in Angus.. and excellent coffee too supporting a great charity as well. I can’t recommend more.

Great place to take the kids, see the animals and have lunch in the tea room. Very friendly staff. Great play areas for the kids as well.

Murton farm is an asset to the area it’s well maintained, lots of interesting animals and activities for children with friendly staff and a great little cafe.

No dogs allowed, no exceptions. Shame really. Was looking forward to trying their cafe, and was disappointed after walking some distance along the road to get there.

The tea room overlooks Murton Farm and we enjoyed the cakes and the scone. The service was very good and friendly. The farm is a real find for families and is justifiably very popular.

Our first visit but we will return. Service was efficient and friendly. Really made to feel welcome as soon as we set foot on the decking. We had sandwiches and coffee and found it very reasonable. Lovely place to sit and soak up the scenery.

If you get a chance go to this lovely tearoom just outside forfar. If Linda is making the scones you are in for a treat!! The biggest fluffiest tastiest fruit scone I have had. What a fantastic place, great service, delicious coffee and a beautiful setting
