Muffin Break - Menu

I went there with my family and we loved the ambience, coffee and service . The muffins and cake were the best I ever had. I will make sure to go there again.

Amazing food, tasty and looked appealing. Staff was very friendly and felt welcomed. I was not expecting a shopping centre place to be so amazing, it was a welcome surprise

Stopped at the Friary Shopping centre, Guilford to look around. Had excellent coffee and a muffin. The staff was friendly and helpful. A pleasant stop with plenty of tables available.

The coffee was excellent, but both the sausage roll and sausage bap tasted like they had been reheated several times. The quality of the food was disappointing, especially considering the prices are not low.

Excellent coffee with freshly made, generously sized muffins. What is not to like! The service was with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you! A perfect stop to refresh tired legs from a shopping trip.

The flat white coffee was delicious, just like the carrot and apple bran muffin. The staff was friendly and attentive. The indoor seating area was clean and inviting. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant.

Havin used muffin Break for many yrs I have become increasingly disappointed over the last few months with the food. Todays my Italian meat in a flatbread and my wife’s toasted cheese tomato sandwich set an all time low , both were reduced to a thin overheated and burnt mess. The apology’s from the staff seem sincere but no refund was offered and I will not be purchasing any more food from them.

On Sunday, November 6th, 2022, at 3:20 pm, I was at the front of the line at the restaurant. The cashier skipped over me and served the person behind me instead. After realizing the mistake, the cashier laughed at me and intentionally ignored me by continuing to serve the customer behind me. It was a terrible experience. My daughter and I used to visit this cafe often to have coffee, snacks, and a good time, but I will never return after this incident.

Cafe’s located on top floor of Guildford Friary Shopping Centre near the main escalators. Being a franchise, food and drink consists of a standard range in all their outlets. Visited at lunchtime and when I went to pay via Amex the chap kindly confirmed they were part of the current Amex “shop small” promotion and so saved me £5 bargain! Sat in their customer area on mall concourse as in my opinion it’s a better option than sitting inside which looked dark and cramped. Friendly staff/prompt service/great hot drinks and snacks :
