"Very disappointed. First time the steak was overcooked, yet when I mentioned it to the waitress, she disagreed and sought out the manager. He came over and said that although he agreed it wasnt what I asked for (medium rare), it wasn 't bad. He gave me the choice of amending the bill, or getting me another steak. I opted for the other steak. When it came over I cut into it and this time it was rarer than rare. He took one look at my face and said still not satisfied? I have never felt so embarrassed in a restaurant before! I did eat it but hated every mouthful. The fact that there were only two other tables with customers speaks volumes. I would expect a chef in a steak restaurant to know how to cook a steak, and I would never expect a manager to belittle me in front of my other guests. Never again!"

Chip portions are too small. The food is tasty but should be larger portions considering the prices.

Regular business meeting point for us. Very decent lunch time deal menu. Fillet steak sandwich is simply amazing

Can't recommend enough, left happy as usual. Was here on a Monday and took advantage of their lunch menus. Excellent choice, great service, would definitely come back again! A big thank you!

The lunch menu was great value and the food was served quite quickly after ordering and was done just as asked. The steak was lovely. Drinks were also good quality and reasonably priced. Our waiter was a very nice friendly man and we felt paid attention without being intrusive. No complaints at all.

"We were at the pub for the Summer Soulstice evening. It was good fun with fantastic music, albeit the music changed later in the evening and it wasn't our cup of tea (a lot of others felt the same). It was a fun evening and all enjoying themselves. The pub and garden were packed. The toilet situation was terrible the queues and the disabled toilet was out of order not good. Staff friendly one in particular, who seemed to be everywhere and doing everything was a lovely lady called Alexia I believe. Such a great person and working very hard. It was busy at the bar. We got the same round in for most of the evening so we knew the price. Our last round of the evening had one less drink in it, but the pricing was the same as the other rounds. Very strange. Not sure if a lot of the bar staff are experienced in customer service either. Lots good, but difficult to query the bill or discuss anything when it was so busy. Our second year at Summer Soulstice, we will be back next year as it's a very good event."

"I received a very warm welcome on a rainy evening when I arrived at the restaurant. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, especially the authentic pizzas. There was a good variety on the menu and the meal didn't feel rushed. The service was great, and I will definitely be returning to this restaurant."
