Midori Japanese Restaurant

Lovely staff and great service, gave us free starters such as wasabi beans and edamame, with fortune cookies at the end. The menu is great, with loads of options and the sushi was especially delicious. Would definitely go back!

Midori has one of the best ramen and sushi I have ever tried. The food tastes fresh and it is very well prepared. The staff is amazing as well, always treating you with respect and kindness. I highly recomend tthemwith no doubts.

I want to say that the restaurant service was spotless, the staff were lovely and also use some Japanese disciplines culture, making the atmosphere carming . Food was amazing delicious. The soda noodles and bento box are the best to order. Wanted to give a big thanks Voir le carte

Went here for dinner last night can't compliment it enough. The staff were friendly, straight over with water (which I appreciate). We got the gyoza to start followed by a selection of sushi, sashimi and different rice. All excellent quality and very reasonably priced we will be regular visitors back!

Had a lovely lunch here today. Very friendly, gluten free knowledgeable and have in-house GF soy sauce. Fish was super fresh, the rolls were savoury and everything we ate was super-yummy. They even made a crispy salmon skin roll so my GF partner could enjoy its crispy deliciousness! Softshell crab hand roll was pretty good too.

Delicious Food. When I use to study nearby, Midori would be my absolute go to restaurant whenever I and my friends were feeling hungry. Service is amazing, wait time isn’t too long, and the food I always trust to fill me up. I always got the same bibimbap every time I went here, and I can say for certain it’s absolutely delicious. The perfect local restaurant. Everything about this dining experience was top class. As you can see from the photo the decor is cute and not over the top and the service from the staff was exemplary. The food itself was delicious and came in very generous portions making this very good value for money. We didn't manage to finish everything even though we wanted to! Definitely a hidden gem and I'll be back again soon!

The flavours of the dishes were high definition and really came through strong with every bite. Teriyaki Chicken was lovely and is must order again next time. Prawn Tempura and Katsu Chicken were very crispy! All the Sushi Rolls were amazing! The menu came with pictures which really helped with understanding what to order. There was also a snapshot of history on the dishes with was a nice touch and added to the theatre of the meal. Food is very filling. The customer service is exemplary. They went above and beyond to create an experience for the customer and I really appreciated this as it was my birthday. Decor was lovely and intimate! Payment quick and easy to splits with the card machine....

I recently ordered takeout from Midori restaurant and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I specifically requested ramen with chicken, but to my dismay, I received a dish with pork instead there was not even an option of pork. Furthermore, the ramen soup was excessively oily and lacked any discernible flavor. It was as if the chef had simply poured oil into a bowl of water and called it soup. the sushi rolls I ordered arrived in a pitiful state – completely destroyed and barely resembling sushi at all. It was evident that no care was taken in the preparation or packaging of these items, resulting in a mess that was unappetizing to look at, let alone eat. Midori restaurant... Voir le carte
