"Altkritik from 2012 2015 set here For a long time I wanted to test the “La Favola” according to the good reviews received here. Yesterday we had the opportunity to leave the A1 in Ron Wuppertalsdorf on the way back from Cologne and hungry. The “La Favola” is located very close to the overall school Ronsdorf in a sleek, inconspicuous corner house, through brightly illuminated windows we were able to create a well-filled guest room for Wednesday night. About 15 tables of which 5 were still free, but partly reserved, let us be afraid to wait, but we got another table assigned. The guest room is arranged angularly around the separated kitchen, the walls are held in bright yellow tones, slightly marbled, a gray granite-like tile as a floor, a wall behind the counter in chocolate-brown markko, another one with broken stones. The dark brown wooden tables nicely covered, cutlery, a small bread plate, plus salmon-colored fabric napkins, a small narrow flower vase and a tea light, which makes a pleasant impression. For this purpose, wooden chairs with mesh and seat cushions, which unfortunately proved to be quite uncomfortable. It is also a pity that the windows have lost the sprouts in an earlier renovation. Also the room lighting seemed inappropriate to us, on the one hand too bright, on the other hand modern luminaires would have better adapted to the ambience than the yellow glass luminaires used. (However, they will see many different things. 2 people worked in the service and handled them easily and confidently. We got the maps, in addition a leaf with daily dishes, which included three different fish dishes but also a deer dish, which already indicates fresh products. But we wanted to eat a little bit more and we were set on pizza. The main map clearly divides what we expected, one side with salads, soups and appetizers, one side with noodle dishes of € 6 9 and one side with pizzas of € 5 11 but also one side with meat dishes and fish. (including Scaloppina, Filet, Seezunge, Lachs and Gambas Prices from 12 to 25 €. Unusual, the menu bilingual, German and English. We chose an Insalata Mista 4,50 € with homedressing, a pizza with ruccola, parma hams, tomatoes, garlic and planned parmesan, explicitly noted on the map without cheese and tomato sauce, which of course was also to get as a “small pizza” 6 € and a pizza with sharp salami, parika, onions and corn 7,50 €, plus a bottle of pellegrino After picking up the order, we got some hot pizza rolls with a cup of herbal butter. The salad also didn't wait long, a neat portion of iceberg salad, with tomatoes, cucumbers and lots of curled radishes proved to be fresh and tasty with a cream dressing. The pizzas were then also brought directly after consumption of the salad, were abundant but without being overcharged. The ingredients were fresh, the parmesan cut beautifully thin. All right, maybe they could have been baked a little longer to get even more cherry. The final espresso € 1.80 were hot and with a very nice crema, much better it is not even in Italy, there were 2 packed waffle rolls. Conclusion: very good price performance ratio, the food really good, would irritate me during a further visit also the noodle dishes and the “higher” dishes. Unfortunately, the restaurant is a bit far away for us, but if I were to live nearby, it would certainly have the stuff to become my favourite. I decided to evaluate the overall impression here (not the individual areas according to the scheme of a kitchen trip. This review background is solved by a restaurant classification. This can apply to both a star place and a pizzeria or a snack. I think that's fair, every restaurant category will be fair, and I'd find it nice if other friends would join it and get this through for the overall impression here. Overall impression: 4 – happy again (1 – certainly not again, 2 – hardly again, 3 – if it results again, 4 – happy again, 5 – absolutely again"

this restaurant is connected to the Italian segment. the distance between their menu to italia is huge, not many courses of the Italian cuisine and the only feeling of italia is the amazing waiter who speaks italian and the name of the restaurant. thata has...not to reduce that this is a very nice place to din, the service is amazing professional, the courses (especially the nebraska steak, which was amazing.) the tiramisu dessert is top rated! weinsorte is quite impressive and knowing the waiter about weine is above average. definitiw will be the next visit to the region again.

Ce restaurant est en relation avec le segment italien. La distance entre leur menu et l'Italie est énorme, peu de plats de la cuisine italienne et la seule sensation de l'Italie est le serveur incroyable qui parle italien et le nom du restaurant. Thata n'a ... rien pour réduire le fait que c'est un très bel endroit pour dîner, le service est incroyablement professionnel, les cours spécialement le steak Nebraska qui était incroyable. Le dessert Tiramisu est le mieux noté! Le cépage est assez impressionnant et les connaissances du serveur en matière de vins sont supérieures à la moyenne. Je reviendrai certainement lors de la prochaine visite dans la région

"If a family has been leading an Italian Sicilian restaurant for 40 years without interruption in a German city, you can talk about a tradition of Italian Sicilians. Forty years at the same location, vis a vis of the Wuppertal swimming pool and not even an ideal location, about 1.5 kilometres from the city. We haven't been here for a long time, of course it's not 40 years ago, but two or three years. We entered. Just like before, always full. The atmosphere has changed to the advantage. No more South-European tourists Kitsch, more puristic and therefore contemporary. A friendly restaurant chef greeted us. That he wore a very chic short black pants (until the knee, surprised us first, but didn't bother us. His figure allowed to wear this designer piece in the German summer. He accompanied us to our nice 2 he table in a side room of the restaurant 's. They used to say Separee. In the Separee there were two more table, plus and above all more to the guests there later. The table was nicely covered, including flowers and an LED light cube. Just taken place a pretty, black-haired female operation appeared and handed us the cards. The offer made a careful impression. Of course, pasta, also pizzas, but also various beef fillets and something from the sea. There is also a daily map. The description of the dishes went beyond the standard Italian Sicilians. Everything seemed very creative. Either the Ragazzi in the kitchen understood their craft or they could sell themselves well. We ordered the drinks that were served immediately. In the meantime we had made our choice. Two times the Antipasto Taormina (12, Euro a Person , Filetto de Manzo (Rinderfilet mit Stein Pilz, 29, Euro und die Gamberoni a la Taormina (Riesengarnelen mit Parmaschinken, 26, Euro). While we felt a bit loud when entering the restaurant, it was in the Separee (but much quieter). The pretty blacks appeared quickly back at the table and served black olives with a chillie pod and some bread. In fact, only ETWAS bread. If you cut a small slice of light bread into four parts, then the ETWAS gives bread. That didn't bother me. Olives are not my case, but will be consumed by Hasimausi. And pure bread without a dip, no thanks. My view migrated to the two neighboring tables. We were completely satisfied with the appetizers, just as with the very attentive service. Now in the run-up to the main courts I had some time to take care of the neighboring table (with eyes and ears). And O miracles, Hasimausi did not speak out of her discontent. My view wandered on the plate of Hasimausi. Four woundable large giant panels, half opened, ready to eat. Where the shrimps could only be seen, they were wrapped with parma ham. So almost Surf Turf in the Sicilian version. By Hasimausi an unrestricted praise. In other words, class. Dessert? Well, Dolci from the country that had to experience 64 governments since the end of World War II in 72 years has never been my case, just too sweet to me. And that's where my suggestion is to improve the Ristorante Taormina. Why is there no cheese dessert listed on the map? Formaggio from Berlusconi, Fiat Ferrari and Eros with Ramazotti is a top class, especially since the buffalo mozarella on the appetizer already convinced. Well, I could have asked for the Formaggio, but I didn't. Instead, we restricted ourselves to Grappa Espresso. What else was noticed: On the map of the Ristorante Taormina the ignorant guest is explained exactly what the different cooking levels for steaks (Rare, Medium Rare, Medium, Medium Well and Well Done mean. Certainly there are still eaters who don't know that exactly. What we found very funny, however, was the explanation for Well Done: WELL DONE is completely fried. You have ruined a piece of nature, but if you want it so, order it calmly. The service acts friendly, flott and was always present. 5 stars. If we were still convinced with a cheese plate at the end, the 5 stars would be inconceivable. But so completely convinced 4.5 stars. Without tadel cleanliness, please 5 stars. The ambience is simple, but as good as possible. For 3.5 stars. And what is served on the plate is worth the money without restriction. Therefore for price/performance 5 stars.
