"Love it here! Sitting outside on the cobblestones on a balmy evening during the summer watching the trams go by, surrounded by relaxed and smiling people enjoying good food and a glass a wine (or beer)! The food is not expensive and is consistently very good. The cheese fondue is a must, as is the beetroot salad. We call it the "oranges café" as there is always a plate of oranges on each of the outdoor tables. The outdoor area, by the way, can sit around 40-50 people. The interior seems a little small but it is quaint and inviting, especially during the winter months, when you will find low lighting and the constant chatter. The waiting staff are always friendly and welcoming. It is worth dropping by for a "Hugo" or a coffee during the afternoon or for an easy, relaxed dinner in the evening."

First of all you have to taste the beetroot salad! That is one of my favourite dishes ever!!! Tastes in summer and also in winter, and its healthy too! Great service, too. Go there and enjoy!

we were in the past quite often in mezzodi. first, because we live around the corner, secondly, because it is a beautiful place with atmosphere, good wine selection, good eating and competent service. Last year, some employees went to open.

eating and our waitress were very good, but after our second visit to this caffe with our little daughter we experienced a bad and unacceptable treatment by the owner himself. After we had finished eating, my man went in to pay with our German giro. .

Popped in here for drinks, it's warm and cosy inside - walls are filled with different bottles of wine. Good selection of white and red wines by the glass and one rose by the glass. The rose was really nice as was the Tempranillo. We didn't eat here but all the food looked appetizing - our waitress was lovely. Great spot for some really nice wines. Darling, quaint restaurant! We were there on a cold, rainy night and it was warm & inviting! Reservations are a must. Great wine prices. Cheese fondue is delicious! Small plates are ample & they will customize them to what you want. Outdoor seating is great on a warm sunny night and a beautiful area of Munich too! Just watch the clock because we wanted to order dessert and were told the kitchen was closed (and it was only 9:45).

we both got very ill hours after eating here. it was last summer, and i wrote the review then, but when tripadvisor asked if i really wanted to post it (with the title 'food poisoning'). i decided to try to put it in the past. but it was a special evening that was ruined and i haven't been able to forget it, so i don't think they should get a complete pass on it. we both ate the same thing (fondue), so it's hard to imagine it could have been anything else. so this is just strongly to advise caution.
