"About 2 months ago, my mom had to move from her home of over 20 years in the Spessart mountains to assisted living in Alzenau. Despite living in California, we have had the opportunity to take her out to lunch and dinner several times. We have now visited La Taverna 3 times and every time I was astounded by the quality of the food, the execution, the plating, and the service by the multicultural service team. The portions are huge and the prices are low especially when compared to US prices. We ordered a soup: beef broth with veggies and beef. We got a huge plate of veggies and beef with broth! If I'd eaten all that, I'd have been full. The service members recognized us and even Remembered which wine we liked. Of note also is that the place is in a huge winter garden with multiple plants. It's like eating in a botanical garden."

"Sehr leckeres Essen. Gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis. Aufmerksame Bedienung. Einziges Manko war, dass wir mit der Vorspeise gerade oder noch nicht fertig waren und da wurde schon das Hauptgericht serviert. Hier hätte ich mir etwas zeitlichen Abstand gewünscht. Sonst hätte ich gerne 5 Sterne vergeben."

"When Bruno had to close for 7 days to rebuild this summer, I ordered some carvings and pizza in another pizzeria. Both times I have a press kit! When I make the movie evening with friends and order a big pizza, everyone says the best pizza! Excellent and yet crispy. The Scavengers fresh, super servings, extra wishes are perfectly implemented and the staff is simply great. Also salads great. Sweet noodles! I'm not going to a pizza shop anymore because I'm just disappointed. Thanks for coming! ^"

"Here I like to come quickly to my beloved onion soup with pizza dough lid after the sauna or pizza Hawaii or a Ragsteak. I liked to eat the megacracks here, but I don't know what my mother doesn't care. Visit Fres Sucht ....*grins* The prices here are very good and there are daily changing lunches for small price under the week. The food is very good for the price-performance ratio. Especially pizza and carving are very popular here. The Al Capone offers self pickup and delivery service if you do not want to throw yourself in bowl. But the 1.2 kilometers from my house to the restaurant are not exactly the huge route for me. So you can at least talk nicely to the boss (if he should not stand in the kitchen itself);"
