"We’ve just moved to Velez Rubio 3 months ago, and had so many people advise to eat here that we tried it out......and have kept coming back! My favourite is the Hambourgesa Chilli, and my husband loves the pizzas. As we’ve been eating out at the end of a day decorating or opening boxes, we haven’t been too adventurous but the menu is varied and we look forward to working our way through the list! We eat outside as we take our little dog with us, and she gets more fuss than we do, with a bowl of water served up for her with a smile! The service is great, and as we are sitting outside under an awning near the bandstand, we can watch the children play and the world go by.....great place for atmosphere, and great food and service!"

"Bar-restaurant very well located in the pretty village of Velez-Rubio, with the church and the town square right in front. Unfortunately, the waiters took a long time to serve us (about 20 minutes), while they were preparing the empty tables around us. We tried to get their attention, but they wouldn't look at us. Of course, the food is very rich. We ordered salmorejo, mussels in cider sauce, Russian salad and scrambled eggs with foie. Prepared and tasty. The prices seemed a bit high.
