"The hotel is located outside Hanover in the south (Laatzen City), convenient to the fairs. We arrived on time at 12:00 and crashed into a family party. A glass of champagne, optionally with orange juice, was offered to us. Shortly afterwards, the first glasses were broken. It was very close when everyone was standing. The champagne was, according to the mainstream, only dry, i.e. nearly 30 g of sugar in the liter. But at least he was really cold. The tables were festively covered with fresh roses and lots of glass calottes. The water (Förstina sprudel classic) was put in a napkin dressing the cooler (very good solution). The beautiful cream-colored napkins were folded as compartments, the cutlery flashy. Of course there were only water shakers for salt and pepper. After all, real candles stuck in the wall lamps. The broth was served around 13:00 (Lower Saxony wedding soup with mettballs, egg engraving, asparagus pieces and asterisk noodles). She was extremely good and almost glowing (this is a basic requirement in good-bourgeois houses). Egg stabs and metts were made. Before the soup, wine was offered and presented. The young ladies from the service (excellently in brocaded green tops, combined with a long dark skirt and an even longer carted apron) quickly made the round with two bottles (Trittenheimer Altärchen Kabinett Riesling semi-dry and Pfälzer Merlot, Deutsches Weintor). Both were well tempered. The main court arrived at 14:00. Duett vom Rinder- und Schweinfilet mit Whiskyrahmsoße, Pommes dauphin, Salzkartoffeln und bunter Vegetableplatte, also on request Pommes frites. These and the excellent Pommes dauphin were home-made, the salt potatoes were not worth the speech, the meat was rather dead-fried (that is, in people beyond the 80 it is not possible to say otherwise). The sauce was very reminded of bag, the vegetable plate was very nice with finger tubes, freezer blossoms, bacon wrapped bacon, broccoli and cauliflower cabbage with brown semmelbbles and fresh Chamignons. Relaying was offered permanently. Wine was presented quickly. The water bottle in the cooler before me was replaced when the first was still filled to a third. This third I was really cold and thought that the empty bottle would now be removed. Missing. She stood before my plate until the end of the main dish. For dessert I had no capacity anymore."

"C'était notre deuxième visite dans ce restaurant et j'étais ravi que nous ayons réussi à avoir une table car le restaurant est minuscule et parfois assez difficile à obtenir. Quoi qu'il en soit, mon petit ami a commandé des pâtes et j'ai commandé une pizza. Les pâtes étaient ... servies en premier et mon petit ami voulait attendre quelques minutes jusqu'à ce que ma pizza soit servie avant de commencer à manger. L'un des propriétaires a remarqué qu'il attendait et a dit à mon petit ami de commencer à manger parce que ma pizza allait prendre plus de temps à être servie et il a insinué que mon petit ami se plaindrait que ses pâtes étaient froides et qu'il ne voulait pas s'en occuper. plaintes! J'ai été choqué d'entendre une telle chose venant du propriétaire lui-même, mais malheureusement ce n'était pas la fin de l'expérience étrange. J'avais également demandé à la serveuse que ma pizza soit tranchée dans la cuisine car mon bras est actuellement blessé. Le propriétaire a dit que c'était de ma faute si la pizza avait mis plus de temps à être servie parce que je voulais qu'elle soit déjà tranchée! C'était une autre blague stupide et inappropriée au mauvais moment. Je voulais simplement manger en paix et ce n'était pas vraiment possible grâce à un humour inapproprié. Ah et aussi, le restaurant est très petit et très complet la plupart du temps et ce jour-là, la serveuse a décidé d'utiliser un parfum très intense et fort, que l'on pouvait sentir à chaque fois qu'elle passait. Ça sentait Abercrombie Fitch et ce n'est pas ce que l'on veut sentir en mangeant. Donc, ce ne sera que de la nourriture à emporter pour nous quand je m'en remettrai! Pitié."

"We visited Cafe Anno two nights ago on a seemingly normal Friday night. The World Cup was on and that might have surprised the cafe, becaused it seemed the staff was overwhelmed by the number of guests. The place and square was by no means packed, but the staff seemed stressed out. We arrived at 9 pm, ordered drinks and our meal. Our kids didn’t want all the vegetables in their meal (enchilada), and the waitress mentioned, that the ‘special order’ might come with a wait. And wait we did! We waited for well over an hour, so at 22.10 the waitress promised ‘it’ll be right out’. At 22.20, still nothing! We asked the staff again, but the waitress was to ashamed to come out and tell us, that it would be another 5-10 minutes, so we’d had it. We cancelled the order, left the place and never coming back. And yes, they told us, it might take extra time, but 1,5 hours to prepare Enchiladas, that’s beyond ridiculous!"
