"We have been faithful fans of Mazaar for years, but were so disappointed with our latest visit. Food was not hot when it arrived, portions were small, and service was poor due to understaffing. I may go back to their South Windsor location, as the food is pretty dependable, but will never bring a large group to the downtown location again."

The food was rather good, good garlic sauce and very good service. The menu is a little pricier for the food but the ambiance is also better than a regular shawarma place.

We were a large group for a business dinner and really enjoyed our evening. I had the lamb freekeh and it was very good. We also all shared tabbouleh, hummus and fresh pita all great. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and managed our larger table well.
