"The hotel is located in Mannheim's city centre on R-Platz, near the Concorde Church. On site small bistro with beautiful seating in bright wood, everything looks very well maintained. Through the large windows a lot of daylight falls into the place so that it is pleasantly bright. On the walls green carpets and on the tables plants. Very friendly reception had to wait longer for our food. We tried the menu: Chili cheese burger meat pattie on salad in burgerbun, chilli peppers, tomatoes and sweet cheese O.K., slightly sharp as expected. "Wir waren an einem Feiertag im Kaoru, da Kyoto und Tokyo Sushi beide geschlossen hatten an dem Tag, voll war das es dort trotzdem nicht. Die Service Mitarbeiterinnen waren zwar recht freundlich und die Qualität der Speisen ganz in Ordnung, weshalb ich noch 2 Punkte gebe. Allerdings liefen an der Sushibar über die 1.5h die wir da waren immer die gleichen Teller vorbei, die niemand wollte. Teilweise wurde dann da noch das abgeladen was irrtümlich zubereitet wurde. Die beiden Sushiköche haben immer wieder lautstark mit dem Servicepersonal diskutiert, waren ständig mit dem abarbeiten von außer Haus Lieferungen beschäftigt und einer der beiden war auch nicht in der Lage ordentliche Rollen zu rollen. Auf die Bestellungen müsste man teilweise sehr lange warten. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier einfach nicht, andere Sushirestaurants in Mannheim sind deutlich besser und die Atmosphäre war sehr unangenehm."

"I think basically all vegetarian options are vegan by default here. I like that you can mix match your meal as you like, combining 3 different elements. And for once the vegetarian/ vegan options are cheaper than the ones with meat! I can only recommend getting your meal with injeera bread rather than couscous the bread is just amazing! And unlike other places, they also have vegan dessert, if you still have space in your stomach after a really good main! Once I was there with a large group of people: they were struggling to deal with that many people, but were still very nice and did their best, trying to accommodate everyone. But it's easier if you go there with less people."
