My favourite restaurant in Uttoxeter. The food is always amazing and the Tiramisu is so good no amount of words do it justice.

Basically a shop front converted into a restaurant with tables and chairs however the food and service was great so I look forward to going back!

Once again, thank you Jo and Mario for a great meal. Lovely people, excellent food. One tip for would-be diners, booking is essential. The place is only open from Thursday to Saturday in the evenings and it is rightly popular.

Book a table! We visited on the strength of other reviews and it was excellent. No pizzas on the menu (unless we missed them), which pushed the kids to try some of the pasta-dishes, which did not disappoint. Finished off with some proper gelato (can recommend the coffee flavour).

This place feels like a proper Italian restaurant that you would visit if you were on holiday in Italy. The menu is not extensive but it is full of quality. Wine is also sold by the litre bottle at £20, so excellent value and again good quality. Very friendly staff and a nice warm friendly vibe about the place. Our family enjoyed amazing Italian food here at the weekend and found the whole experience to be just perfect. The staff were very courteous and friendly and the food was faultless. The portion sizes were very generous and the 1 litre bottle of white wine for £20 was great value. We would all recommend Mario's whatever the occasion and will definitely be returning!
