Great little Italian restaurant. We didn't have a booking but they fit us in no problem. Nice friendly staff, good food a good price's, even the wine prices are reasonable. We will be back.

We were here at 9 a.m. from the cuff and although they were busy, they had room for us. Food was beautiful, authentic Italian cuisine and authentic Italian portions, amazing deserts the children were blown away and we all had a nice meal. Eat here, you will not regret it.

I came in York without hint where I eat, so I asked the hotel recipe that Mamma Mia recommended. What a great choice. Had sea bass and when I sat next to the sweet cupboard, I couldn't resist white chocolate winning rolls. Excellent meal. Staff very helpful and friendly. I recommend I will definitely go back next time in York.

we meet regularly with friends here. there is now a new and varied menu that is also suitable for vegetarian and Fussy-Esser. our meals were as amazing as ever. I had spaghetti mediterranea, which was in front of location, and the service is great. they do without a doubt the best tomato garlic brot in york ... and their creamy garlic mushrooms are for to die! the toilets could use a very thorough clean Voir le carte

A wonderful authentic family run Italian! We have been a number of times celebrating birthdays and wedding anniversaries and the food is absolutely amazing every time! So much so on a recent visit to York we dined two days in a row (How's that for a recommendation) The restaurant itself is lovely and it has a cracking little garden which is great to eat in during summer. It is our favourite restaurant in York and I definitely recommend a visit.

Just walked in off the street. Wasn't sure they could fit us in. But they did. Service was good and friendly. Even if they didn't say much. The food was delicious! Absolutely delicious. It may have been early in the night but it was great. The lasagna came bubbling to the table the two Calzones were sat in a pool of tomato sauce that I thought was a waste but it all went! Highly recommended this place to anyone looking for a good reasonably priced Italian in York.

This Italian restaurant, located on Gillygate, is one of my favorites. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with background music that adds to the experience. The carbonara is exceptional and among the best I have tasted in any Italian restaurant. The garlic bread is a must-try starter, especially the spicy chili version if you enjoy some heat. My girlfriend always goes for the lasagna, which she loves. It's a popular spot for parties, with groups often seen dining here. The restaurant maintains an authentic feel, despite being part of a chain. I highly recommend it for its reasonable prices and delicious food. Voir le carte
