Very mediocre burgers, about a serving spoon amount of salad, soggy french fries. Member of staff quite irritating. Wouldn't bother to go out of my way. Kid-friendliness: Not family friendly, fair enough. Price per person: £50–60 Voir le carte

The service was exceptional as well, with attentive and friendly staff that made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was fantastic, contributing to a wonderful dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic cosy little place with seating inside and out. The chalkboard menu is always sure to have something you'll love on it, and whilst being a local pub in a quiet little village, it is always so friendly and welcoming staff and regulars alike. Easily the best pub in Wiltshire. Vegetarian options: While the menu is small, it does offer at least a couple of vegetarian options, both for starters and mains. Parking: Spacious gravel parking area to the side.

This renowned pub in Newton is one of the most charming old-school establishments around. The owner and his wife are both exceptional bakers and chefs, making dining here a true destination in itself. The atmosphere is genuine and welcoming. It’s a delightful experience, especially when playfully teasing the regulars about losing the colonies. You can really catch a glimpse of the best qualities from Margaret Thatcher’s era here.
