We live nearby and typically steer clear of restaurants that serve meat, so we were hesitant to try Mala Indian Kitchen despite its vegan-friendly reputation. However, we finally decided to give it a try last week and were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The menu clearly marks all vegan options, and the chef kindly made the dal makhani vegan for us upon request.
