Lyle's - Carte

Every time I go to Lyle 's I think I should come here more often . For a restaurant to consistently nail food and service to the level they do is sadly increasingly hard to find.

Top restaurant. All dishes were fanstastic. Our highlights were the grilled udder and the fried calamari so good! Also worth mentioning was the delicious bread, which was included.

Incredible wine pairings, service and accents on small but punchy flavours in the dishes. Well deserved 1 star, could be 2 star Michelin. Will definitely be coming back! Keep the love for your craft alive Voir le carte

The restaurant offers a fascinating variety of food, showcasing authentic British cuisine. While it may not be to everyone's taste, if you enjoy trying new foods, it is definitely a must-visit. The staff is friendly and provides great service.

My Highlight in London. Perfekt creative food, nice and friendly Ambiente and great Service. I hope i can come back one day! Update: Our favorite in London or world wide?, whenever we are visting London we will come here. As well we own a restaurant in Berlin and I will always recommend to our London Guests your Restaurant- thanks again!!!

It's a mystery to me why this restaurant should be in the top 50. It was by far the worst experience in a star restaurant. High-quality ingredients are used and some combinations are interesting, but there can be no question of taste explosions and the presentation is loveless, as is the service... We had a wonderful dining experience at Lyles. We opted for the tasting menu with paired drinks - one of us chose the wine and regular menu while the other tried the vegetarian menu with paired kombucha, a unique and intriguing choice. The service was excellent, with efficient, warm, and friendly staff. The food was delicious, with the cucumber gazpacho standing out as a highlight. The only slight disappointment was the dessert, as the damson ice cream had chewy elements of fish. The decor was stylish and elegant, though for a lengthy meal like ours, we would have preferred a softer, more comfortable seating option. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Lyles.

We booked this as a special meal however left quite disappointed for the price point. We’ve been to quite a few Michelin star restaurants in London for special occasions and this had been on our list for a while so had higher hopes, and the standard of food was not there compared to others. I’ve give 2 stars for the food, not that some of it wasn’t tasty, however for 5 courses for £100+ we were expecting a lot more bold flavours and larger portions. For example, the bread course was counted as one of the courses whereas in other restaurants this is an added extra.
