"This is a wonderful place to stay; really terrific atmosphere, gracious service, and such tasteful decor. (They even manage to make the Harry Potter theme week tasteful! And the dining experience is lovely. My own disappointment is with their vegetarian food. The only entree options are modified meat dishes, and they don't hold up well."

"Lunched today with my wife since we wanted to visit the Ferrera waterfall. We've been looking for neighbors and this has inspired us. Very neat and clean room. Superb the idea of involving special people in this activity. The volunteers are available and passionate and the boys who have served us have had a professionalism and a care towards us that would envy to staff of room of many restaurants. Excellent tasting appetizer with very light fried dumpling and not greased, combined with excellent quality cured meats, really tasty hot eggplant cheese, excellent fried pumpkin flower filled with ricottina and mint and then the carpione... excellent, with a chive in light and crispy agrodolce. Tasty tempura of vegetables and lake fish. Plentiful portions and really contained prices. Experience to repeat. BRAVISSIMI ALL!!!"

"Let me start by saying that I already had lunch in this restaurant last year, always outside with my two toy poodles several times and ate well. Last April 11th I phoned to book, specifying that with us there would be my two very well behaved toy poodles, accustomed since they were puppies to frequenting restaurants, bars, etc.... Since it was a beautiful sunny day and knowing the place, I asked if it was It is possible to have lunch outside under the umbrellas as we and our beloved dogs do not like to eat under the sun. The lady who answered the call specified to me that umbrellas were NOT available and therefore it was possible to eat outside only under the sun. At this point, remembering that the restaurant also has tables inside and therefore covered (where I had previously had lunch, again with my dogs) I therefore asked to book inside. To my great surprise, the lady replied that the restaurant management had decided, certainly from this year, that dogs WERE NO LONGER ACCEPTED AT TABLES INSIDE the restaurant but were ONLY accepted outside. At this point I had to give up on the reservation and therefore booked lunch at the restaurant opposite where they accept dogs within their facility. Without any controversy while NOT agreeing with the new provision I think it is right that the management of the restaurant can decide not to accept dogs at internal tables but at this point I think it is equally right to REPORT this to dog owners who may wish to book at this restaurant."

"Il locale si trova alla Rasa, al primo piano nel nucleo antico. L’ambiente è familiare nel servizio e nella cucina ed è rinomato soprattutto per la pizza. Oggi a pranzo abbiamo preso antipasto misto, tagliatelle ai funghi, polenta ai funghi e tagliata. Ideale per tranquillo un pranzo in famiglia. Comodo anche per la disponibilità di parcheggio. In estate si può mangiare anche in veranda. "

"Sul lago di Ghirla si affaccia la trattoria del lago e il suo grande parcheggio che ospita abbastanza posto per tutti i suoi ospiti. Appena arrivati si respira subito un'aria di coinvolgimento tipica delle trattorie italiane. Tante persone, via vai di camerieri, piatti succulenti e profumati che passano sotto al naso. Dopo una breve attesa ci fanno accomodare, la mise en place è semplice ma funzionale, non serve altro quando è il cibo che parla. Il menu offre un'ampia scelta di antipasti, primi secondi e pezzo forte la griglia. È impossibile non trovare qualcosa che faccia gola, ma anzi molto probabile trovare più e più mets che danno l'acquolina in bocca. La tartare con burrata. Impiattamento semplice ma efficace, con due crostini per gustarla al meglio. Il polipo con patate, di una semplicità infinita ma sempre un must sulle tavolate italiane, morbido e saporito abbinato alla patata non si sbaglia mai. Per i primi, io ho optato per i cavatelli. Saporitissimi e sapidi, cottura al dente e quantità abbondanti. La tagliata di sottofiletto con rucola e parmigiano, morbida, saporita e guarnita con patate al forno e zucchine grigliate, un piattino piacevole e soddisfacente. Per i dolci la scelta è abbastanza varia ma rimane molto sul classico. Ho preferito più le altre proposte rispetto a quelle dolci. Vino consigliato da Gianni buono e piacevole al palato, caffè buono e conto più che corretto. Torneremo."
