"If you are a student at the University of Westminster's Regent Street campus, the toasted chicken club sandwich at Little Portland Cafe is a great option for a quick and delicious meal. Priced at £3.90 for takeaway, this sandwich is filled with roasted chicken, salad, mayonnaise, cheese, tomato, cucumber, and a tasty spread. The jam-like spread adds a unique flavor to the sandwich and complements the bun perfectly. The portion size is generous and definitely worth the price. The staff are welcoming and friendly, but the cafe is small with limited seating, so it can get very busy during lunchtime. It's important to arrive early if you want to secure a seat. Additionally, it's worth noting that the chicken used is halal. Foodie.007 recommends this spot for a satisfying meal on the go."

I come to central London every now and then and this is the first spot I head to. You can't fault this place at all. The food is fantastic, the price is brilliant and to top it off the staff are amazing and attentive.

This place is a hidden gem. The full English breakfast is generous and served piping hot, and the tea is high quality. At £7.90, it's a great value (as of May 22). The staff is friendly and the restaurant is quite popular, standing out amongst the sea of high visibility jackets during worker breaks. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a quick breakfast early in the morning and this cafe was just what I needed. The Big Breakfast arrived within five minutes of ordering and it was delicious. The price of £8.50 was fair and the staff were friendly. The cafe was busy with local tradesmen, making it a great spot to grab a bite if you're in the area.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is excellent, and they serve a good breakfast in the center of London. It's a great place to eat and enjoy the surroundings. The prices are a bit high, especially considering the central location. However, it's definitely worth a visit, especially if you're a tourist looking for a real taste of British style and tradition at a breakfast café!

I found this family run cafe whilst shopping in Regent Street today. The Little Portland Cafe was quite simply a really special experience in the heart of London. I had a very generous salad nicoise, a homebaked Florentine Earl Gray Tea. Fresh food friendly efficient service. Total cost £12! Amazing value for the quality of food. This cafe was catering for a very busy lunchtime trade mix of both tourists and local workers. I think it's a well kept secret!

I had heard fantastic things about this cafe but I was extremely disappointed. The cafe was extremely crowded, making it difficult for the staff to move around. There were only two people taking orders, resulting in a long wait for the food to arrive. Despite hearing that the prices were reasonable, I found the cost to be quite high for what I received - a small jacket potato with just baked beans, a small amount of lettuce, tomato, and cucumber, along with two regular coffees cost £13.60p. The price was even higher than a full English breakfast. Voir le carte

Located just off Regent Street, this restaurant received high praise, so we decided to have lunch here. They offer a variety of home-cooked dishes, and I chose the chilli con carne. The portion was generously sized, with just the right amount of spice in the chilli and perfectly cooked rice. It was delicious. The restaurant was very busy, so we opted to sit outside. Surprisingly, I paid for my meal after eating it, but the service was excellent. At £8.50 for my chilli, it was well worth it and hard to beat in central London. This place is a hidden gem.

toasted chicken club sandwich (takeaway:) £3.90 if you go to the university of westminster and study at the campus of regent street, this is very practical for you. compared to university is little portland cafe literally less than a minute away! this delicious sandwich consisted of roasted brot, hun, salat, mayonnaise, cheese, tomato, cucumber and an unknown jam as common. it was great! the jam like spread actually went so well with the bun, there was that the bun on its own would have been missing. the club sandwich was also really big, definitiw the price worth! also the employees were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. the caffe itself is actually small with...read more

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
