"In these hard times I hate slamming businesses but I dropped into the coffee shop for coffee and cake. Found a table near the window and waited for my order. A lady brought my cake and I asked if she could clean my table which was covered in crumbs and coffee stains. She came back 5 minutes later with my coffee and acknowledged she hadn't had time to clean my table. She walked away and still didn't come back to clean the table. The Cafe was reasonably busy but I am afraid this is no excuse as another recently empty table was cleared of dishes and wiped down. Very disappointing as its not nice to sit at a dirty table and I just wanted to drink my coffee and get out quick."

Called in for coffee cake, and a very tasty sausage roll. Quite pricey but quality costs a little more. Would recommend.

Lovely vibe and great coffee. Delighted to find vegan cinnamon buns on the counter delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

First time visit and we loved it. A great selection of cakes (courgette and lime was had) and fantastic sausage roll with caramelised onion and red leicester. Will definitely visit again next time we're in Launceston.

We stumbled upon Liberty Coffee and we are very glad we did. Although they had run out of a few things by time we got there, we wasn’t disappointed. We had the quiche which was amazing, the side salad was a delicious. The staff were so lovely and friendly, very welcoming. We had a lovely visit and would highly recommend a visit.

We must go into Launceston approximately once a month on a Saturday morning. We were saddened to hear of a very negative review left by a customer. We always find the staff are absolutely fantastic, food delicious and coffee amazing. Always a great experience and atmosphere even down to the group of guys that seem to meet up on a Saturday to put the world to rights, just brilliant, can’t recommend it highly enough, well worth a visit

We stumbled across this cafe on a recent long weekend in North Cornwall. I love to try new cakes, and the old classics done well, so we ordered Spanish Almond cake and Coffee and Walnut. Both were delicious. The Spanish Almond was like a cross between Bakewell Flavour and those Ameretto biscuits that come with coffee. It wasn't too sweet, which I prefer. Hubbies Coffee cake had a silky coffee icing and I would love to know how they got that texture. Drinks were good too, will definitely return should we ever come back to Launceston.

We ordered coffee and cake but experienced rude staff when visiting this coffee shop. They made negative comments about us using the Wi-Fi. I would argue that if you don’t want Wi-Fi used then don’t choose to offer it. We could only drink half of our coffee as it was so acidic but a different drink wasn’t offered instead we were given a 10 minute lecture about it being the milk that has effected the taste of the coffee. We didn’t want the awkward explanation just a relaxing treat of coffee and cake. We haven’t visited again which is a shame as we often visit Launceston at least twice weekly.
