Levant - Carte

This is a posh place with a pricey price tag. For the price its not worth it. As usual with most Mediterranean food it was too bland.

Wooooow wat a belly dance.... But food are expensive and the place is croudy and noisy..... Will not prefer to come here on normal days.....

The interior of the place was stunning. The service was okay. However, the food was tasteless. It was not flavoursome at all. Tried my friends dishes and again, very tasteless. Drinks were good.

Ordered a collection of starters and they were all fantastic. A great range of food which combined, leave you feeling very full and satisfied (so full that we opted for a delicious rose mint tea instead of dessert! . Very good entertainment with belly dancers too. We tried a couple of the cocktails which were also very tasty. Great evening out.

Terrible service. Poor communication, we are expected to get set menu for 3 people (they told us ONCE we gave a non refundable deposit. Apart from poor communication, trying to force us to get set menu place is nice and food is nice. BIG shame about the service. You need to improve on your service. I visited this restaurant during the week and found it to be quite empty on the ground floor. This meant that my dining companion and I had the two belly dancers all to ourselves, which was a fun experience as we even joined in. The food was excellent, offering traditional Lebanese dishes. The mixed grill was particularly impressive, with well-marinated meats that were delicious. The other starters and mains were also tasty. The ambience was dark and the tables were slightly lower than usual. Just make sure you go to Jason Court (OFF Wigmore Street) to find the entrance, as it can be a bit tricky to locate. Overall, a great dining experience at this restaurant.

We came to Levant for a friend's birthday for the second year in a row, but unfortunately, it will not be a third. I'm not sure if there has been a change in management, but the service was terrible. For example, we ordered a bottle of brandy for £150, and instead of serving the mixers in a nice jug or vase as one would expect at a trendy Mayfair restaurant, we were given 8 cans of Coca-Cola as if we were at a budget grill joint in Hounslow. The food was not hot, with dishes like wings coming out first and pots of garlic and chili sauce arriving 15 minutes later. The waiter was unhelpful and rude. With a bill of £500 for six people, it was a disappointing dining experience, to say the least.

I visited last night with my wife. We were very kind and polite with them, basically in a very nice mood. We were given a small lovely 2 seat table at the edge of the restaurant. 1. The hostess informed us that the Tagine was better than the tagines from Agadir in Morocco. We actually had visited a great little authentic place in a village outside of Agadir which was absolutely delicious, so although we were a little skeptical her confidence made us very excited and looking forward to ordering tagines.
