Leon Bankside - Carte

I pre ordered for a very large group and food was made bang on time. All food was collect correctly (nothing was missing) and was amazing. So helpful and easy service.

Came here for a sweet treat ordered Deliveroo the night before, and it was great! The vegan choco ripple ice cream is very tasty, and the hefty student discount much appreciated.

on a cold and rainy day, we ducked in to eat lunch. We had the korean chicken burgers and they were ok. Nice change to traditional fast food. Very busy location. Hard to find a seat. Voir le carte

I have been dining at Leon for years and they never fail to impress! Today, I enjoyed the delicious chilli con carne for £4.95. The beef was packed with flavor, and the brown rice was cooked perfectly.

We wanted to go to McDonald’s but discovered it was « take away only ». Our kids were sad. Finally we found this place ! Lucky us, way much better than McDonald’s, healthier and not really expensiveness Do not hesitate to prefer it

Went here for some lunch after visiting the Tate Modern. The interior of the building is quite nice and there's plenty of seating. Some of the tables had not been cleared, however, they seemed understaffed or the staff were just too busy. Food was served hot. Loved the GFC nuggets (gluten free) and the Brazillian Black Bean rice box. Voir le carte

Wow…I’m not sure where to start with how bad an experience this was… Chose to eat in and had a Korean chicken wrap meal with lattice fries. The wrap was cold…the fries were cold so asked to swap them and the 2nd batch were equally like warm. Queried either the staff and asked for a fresh serving which they provided, 3rd time lucky. Very poor quality and disappointing.

We ordered to eat in and got it in a bag. Then I found one portion was missing completely which was given to us once asked. It happens and that would not be an issue. However, the chips were cold and soggy. The burgers with unpleasant sour taste. The wrap ok-ish. It was definitely the first and the last visit. McDonalds is a 5* dine in compared to this place for a half of the meal price. Shame.

The LEON menu has had upgrades all vegan this, no meat that and fair trade the other and so has the tech. Gone is the waiter service, so pre Covid, to be replaced by ‘order at the screen’ and ‘collect from the counter’, beloved by accountants everywhere. All that’s fine, so long as it’s reflected in the price. But I still like somewhere to sit that isn’t a health hazard even at KFC and Maccy Ds which Leon now chooses to compete with. And here, Sunday late afternoon, the staff at this branch spent a lot of time chatting to each other and a favourite customer, and zero time cleaning the filthy tables outside and in. Whilst there was people waiting for food. So I cleared two tables myself. And... Voir le carte
