"Hugely disappointing. Went for my mum’s birthday, decided to try the afternoon tea after hearing it was good from a friend, albeit a couple of years ago but I checked the recent reviews and they appeared to be good. We were the only customers, there were several men going in and out, talking loudly and keeping the staff occupied which meant our service was nonexistent. The restaurant itself is run down, had an unpleasant smell, the tables were sticky. The afternoon tea consisted of chicken wraps, falafel wraps, and a ball of mushed up meat rice in filo pastry, smothered in cinnamon. Alongside ready filled scones and shop bought cupcakes. Then a plate of falafel and a plate of baklava. Sadly none of it was particularly enjoyable and the whole thing was just disappointing. Not worth £110 for 5 people. I could have put together a much better Lebanese afternoon tea myself!"

Excellent food and service We went there to celebrate my daughter's 8th birthday, they surprised us all with a brownie and a candle with a happy birthday song in the background

Excellent tagine. We had the lamb and fish ones, which were completely different styles of tagine and both superb. Perfect portion sizes, great tea, and surprisingly reasonable prices for London. Would return.

This restaurant is lovely. The food is amazing,a mix of Lebanese and Moroccan cuisine. I have been several times and love it. The staff are so nice and it has a real friendly environment. Staff are accomodating and I can't rate this place enough.

Came here recently with friends for dinner. I love the vibe of this restaurant, feels very homely and traditionally designed! We came here to pickup a takeaway, with our party going for wraps. All were slightly pricey, but good sized and tasted decent. Staff was friendly and the food didn't take too long either. Overall, a decent experience.

We chose to celebrate Mother's Day at this restaurant and it was a great decision. We were warmly greeted even though we arrived early. Our group included multiple generations, including a 9-month-old baby. The high chair was quickly provided and we were seated comfortably. The service was excellent and the menu had a wide variety of options. Bella took great care of us and the food was delicious, reminding us of our time in Marrakesh. I highly recommend this wonderful local restaurant, especially the Tagines.

The best Moroccan/Lebanese food I have found in London so far. Comfortable chairs, relaxed atmosphere. The tables near the window are fun for people watching on the busy Uxbridge Road outside. We started with the Pastila Djaj to share an excellent pastry filled with chicken, almonds and saffron delicious. Mains were the Tagine Bil Lahme (lamb, prunes, almonds) and the Mixed Grill (Lamb and Chicken) both with rice. All dishes were generous portions and outstanding... flavor, taste and quality. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommended. We dined at this restaurant years ago when we were last in the area, and were excited to return. After spending all day at the Hampton Court Garden Festival, we were famished. We opted for the Moroccan set menu and were unable to finish the final course due to the generous portions. The soup was delectable, and the mezze dish with four different types of flatbreads was amazing. The lamb tagine was incredibly tender and delicious. The wine was reasonably priced. If we didn't live in Yorkshire, this would be our go-to restaurant. The prices are extremely competitive.

We visited this restaurant for the first time and were extremely impressed. The food was delicious, high quality, and the portion sizes were generous. The prices were very reasonable, making it a great spot for regular dining, not just special occasions. I ordered the Moroccan sample menu and my husband had the Lebanese sample menu. The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, the meat was tender, and the vegetable dishes in the Moroccan menu were a healthier option. Each sample menu was only £28 and included a soup, starter, main course, and tea/coffee. We will definitely be back to try more dishes in the future.

"If you live in or visit Hanwell you must take a lazy walk down by the locks and build up an appetite before heading to the W7 Emporium. It’s a little white door by a crappy old man pub sat next to a small florist. Open the door and the atmosphere is straight away comfortable, your away from the street and simply relaxed and at home. The staff are friendly and offer as much banter as you want to be involved with so this is nice and a change from the branded offerings. The furniture is mix and match and the space light and airy so it fits well with Hanwells vibe and there is an outdoor space for the summer. The menu I would describe as funky modern Mediterranean, and there are no sausages which for me can be an issue. But if I’m being 100% honest I couldn’t care less here, the options here are well thought and imaginative. If you want a fry up there are other places in Hanwell to get one but if you want a Mexican there is only one place and that’s here. Ok I’ve given away my ultimate fave thing on the menu it’s what I have and it’s spot on. Poached eggs, nice bread, salad, crispy bacon, avocado and spicy sauce all out together and presented beautifully. So here we go it’s hands down the best place in Hanwell and if you want wine with brunch that’s fine because they serve that too. Have a couple then walk back to the canal and enjoy the afternoon whatever the season it’s a regular weekend jaunt and a compromise between a fry up for me and something healthy for the wife. In the eternal battle of good verses evil the Emporium emerges victorious every time."
