"We have been coming back to Crans Montana every year for 16 years we know what restaurants are available in the area, but for some reason had never tried Le Farinet, so decided to give it a go and had high hopes given the good reviews. However, we had a very poor experience. The service was extremely slow, it took 20 minutes just to bring us menus (and we had a reservation). I then ordered a dish with the primary ingredient being seitan and when the food arrived, quickly realized the seitan was missing. I notified the waiter and he said oh, I’ll ask the chef and brought the food back to the kitchen after which it took 20 minutes for the dish to come back to me with its intended primary ingredient. Meanwhile, the rest of the people I was eating with were waiting to eat their food and of course 20 minutes later, their food was cold. Mistakes happen, I understand but the worst part about the experience was the response and attitude to the mistake. No coming to the table while I was waiting for the food to apologize, explain the mistake and even when the food finally came and we were quite cross with the delay, no real sense of an apology, just very cold and matter of fact. Finally, when we asked one waiter for the bill, we waited 20 minutes only to have another waiter give us the dessert menu and had to ask for it all over again. Additionally, even though our experience was tainted by the bad service, I can honestly say the food was bland. A few people at our table got the quinoa curry dish and there was little to no hint of curry flavor and the seitan, when it finally came, felt like it was just thrown in with a watery broth. So overall, although it’s in a great location and has a nice terrace, I wouldn’t recommend Le Farinet go to one of the other lovely restaurants in Crans Montana, and you’ll have a better experience."

"Yes, after trying several restaurants in Crans Montana, i can say that for me this is the Best place to eat in all valais. For me! I really love the Polenta Montagnard up at Colombire, the Entricote aux morilles and the Amazing view at Plumachit, the Biftec tartar at Taillens(although the Best tartar is here, at Continental ,the delicious pasta with șea fruits at Molino, and the generous portions of pasta at Michelangelo, the Crepes at the Yccor, close to the Patinoire(skating land , the Grillade at Le Chalet în Crans, and the Pizza at gerber, the Grilled duck with rice (mmmmmm..... at le Thai, and thuna sushi at Kaizen, but when it comes to eating the Best dinner for me is Le Continental. The place is not easy to find, it is a bit hidden, the Restaurant looks ok, nothing special, and their terrace is nice, but needs some renovations. But the food, really every plate that comes out of their kitchen has ' ' Passion ' ' written on it. This you can see în every of the Photos posted by their guests. I always get hungry just by looking at the Photos. Smile smile smile Service is friendly, always smiling, nothing is too much for them. I m not a fan of ' 'la chasse ' ', actually Last year was the first time when i ve tried it, and I ve liked it, but i felt a bit guilty there after as I feed the Forest animals every week with rest covers, still the plates were delicious, still for me The piuree is the "star "that convinced me to come and eat here:when I was a child my father used to cook for me and my smaller brother every Sunday, and our favorite plate was Piuree with chicken wings.And crepes, of course, but not many restaurants offer Crepes(pancakes as dessert. Pitty.... I will be here in November, and I will enjoy some Lunch menus this summer too:they are delicious and the prices are always fair, I ve totally appreciated every plate of this Restaurant, and the Coffee too."

"This is simply the best burger you can find. It is juicy, comes with great sauces and customizable. I tasted cumin and sage in my burger. Not sure whether it was in the sauce or in the meat, but it was very very nice. You have option to take single or double burger. I had single and it was enough. Double might be very messy to eat."

"Nous avons fait un petit week end en amoureux à Anzère et avons voulu tester les Burger.Nous avons d 'abord tester leur bière artisanale conseillée. Certes... env. 6-7 fr la bière mais cela vaut la peine. Bière locale et très bonne! Sinon il y a des pressions ou autres boissons standardPour le repas mon chéri a prix un burger/fromage/bacon et a été ravi! super bon!Moi je n 'ai pas pu, intolérante au lactose j 'ai été privée de burger. Mais le serveur adorable m 'a conseillé d 'autre plat. j 'ai pris une simple salade.... mais ô combien délicieuse!!! la sauce une tuerie... et cela avait l 'air bien frais et avec du gout!j 'ajouterai, que le serveur connait bien sa carte, et sait bien renseigner sur les intolérances et allergies!Notre prochain passage a Anzère nous y retournerons!petit PS à un commentaire que j 'ai lu ici, sur ce restaurant oh mon dieu les dalles ont de l 'herbe entre elles ... heuuu est-ce un critère? on est en montagne... entre neige/pluie/soleil, je vous annonce que oui.. l 'herbe pousse! ahahah... non sans blague, je vois vraiment pas le problème et je ne comprends pas comment cela peut être gênant"

"After a week of amazing meals in Switzerland, we had a horrible experience at Le Mayen on our last night in Crans-Montana. The table next to us was occupied by six very drunk teenagers who were screaming and pounding on the table and knocking over bottles and glasses. One patron passed out on the table, and a fight broke out that got physical and resulted in one of the party being removed from the restaurant, but the rest of the party continued yelling and causing a commotion. Our table next to their's was slammed into repeatedly and we could not enjoy our dinner. We finally gave up and paid our check before finishing so we could get out. One waitress did apologize on our way out, but the rest of the staff did nothing to calm down the party, let alone remove them from the restaurant. Le Mayen is not a restaurant to go to if you are hoping for a nice meal. It was an awful experience, and the staff did nothing to change that."
