"This little bistro on the Left Bank is an easy walk from Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris and worth a visit. Their lunch menu is only 14.90€ which includes an appetizer, main dish, glass of wine and coffee. On our visit the appetizer of the day was a delicious terrine de fromage blanc, coulis de courgette (white cheese/mustard seed terrine with a zucchini sauce flavored with ras el hanout). The plat du jour was filet de maquereaux, trio d’haircots (mackerel with three beans) which was served with a flavorful mushroom foam. As I am not a fish person, I opted for the 3€ supplement grillade du joue, a beef steak served with polenta. Though we did not indulge in dessert, their sweets menu is interesting and worth exploring. The proprietors work very hard to please their customers and though their English is not strong, it is adequate for discussing the various dishes offered. I would strongly suggest taking the time to make an on-line reservation, though would not hesitate to stop by even without a booking."
