"My wife, my daughter and I were on holiday in Switzerland, and were brought here by our friend Scilla, who is a regular. Despite the fact that our daughter was having a grade 1 meltdown when we came in, we had a really good experience here. The staff were really nice, and seemed to appreciate my appalling attempts at communicating in French (you know, as opposed to shoutng "laaaaager!" very loudly 6 times in English).I had the pepper sauce burger, Becca had a sandwich and Scilla a salad. The food was top quality and came quite quickly, the portion size was also very generous. The place has a nice feel, and is clearly very popular with the students at the nearby Fribourg Uni.All in all I would say it was really good, and I would highly recommend Le Mondial to anyone.To be honest its very hard to rate cost, as the way the Swiss Franc exchanges with the £ makes everything seem expensive, but from a Swiss point of view, I'd say excellent value!!"

Plain and simple - ballon mondial - best burger in town! Homemade chips & burger bread and just tasty awesome meat... THE place to have a burger!

I didn't feel very welcomed here since I don't speak french. I found the workers alittle annoying. But it is nice with open windows and nice location. Food is ok.

Nice burgers and tartines. All food prices reduced on Tuesdays making it very affordable, but make sure to book your table, the place fills up quickly. The home made ice tea is pretty good.

I had a very good lunch-dinner with my friends here. We had burgers, which were delicious, alongside chips and a sauce that we could pick as we wished. The place is not the fanciest, but it is a nice place for dating with a group a friends for a good beer.

In the heart of the town of Fribourg, "Le Mondial" is one of the best places where to share a good meals with your friends. The prices are suitable for students and portions are huge! I go there with my friends very often and we are always satisfied.It is better to call and make a resrevation, because it is often full.
