Le Maharaja - Menu

The food was great, not as spicy as in most Indian restaurants but that is the same for all Indians in France- I think. Service was excellent too. I've been back a few times.

Un restaurant indien parfait ! Le service et la nourriture sont tous les deux excellents et les prix sont raisonnables. Je suis allé au Maharaja à Mulhouse plusieurs fois et j'ai toujours été très satisfait.

Nous avons commandé du poulet tikka masala qui était délicieux, le poulet fondait dans la bouche et la sauce se mélangeait parfaitement. Nous sommes bien servis et la serveuse est vraiment gentille. Hautement recommandé

We felt very good at Le Maharaja restaurant in Mulhouse. Authentic indian restaurant, the food was very tasty. We eat the best vindaloo ever and the chicken curry was also delicios! The indian sweets selection was interesting and tasty. I recomend also Mango sorbeto. Very friendly staf. I definitely recomend it

Nous adorons la cuisine indienne et nous savons de première main à quel point elle est diversifiée. En France, elle n'est pas aussi répandue qu'aux États-Unis et est généralement très douce et adaptée au palais français. Ce lieu se distingue à nos yeux grâce à sa qualité faite maison. Le service est très attentif et prévenant. Le cheese garlic naan est le meilleur du meilleur.

Well it 's not easy to get a table in a good restaurant in mulhouse at Saturday evening without a reservation. So we thought we were lucky to get one at the maharadja. My partner didn 't complain but me i had the menu with the shrimps and it was without a spicy taste. The red wine pinot noir was terrible, we asked for taking it back-no problem for the bottle, bit we have to pay the cup. The dessert patisserie was not delicious. I ate better Indian before.

Came across this place on a Sunday evening when everywhere else seemed to be closed. Wasn 't our first choice of food as we had 80 yr old grandparents with us that had never eaten 'foreign food '! However, we were all so glad that we took a chance and decided to dine here. The food was delicious, very tasty, perfect portion sizes, and better than the local indian restaurant at home. Prices very reasonable and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend. I had chicken tikka masala, hubby had butter chicken, and grandparents had some sort of beef. Garlic naan to die for!

While walking during the evening in Mulhouse we decided to have dinner and saw by chance this restaurant. Since my husband enjoys Indian food every now and then, we decided to give it a try. It is a little restaurant very nice and tidy. The dishes were excellent. From my humble point of view, it was authentic Indian food. A good dinner I have to say. The only negative point was the service. Even though our waiter brought what we ordered, he never came to check if we needed something. He never smiled which would have been nice. A pity since everything was perfect. All together it was a nice and enjoyable evening.

Out for the evening with friends and one of them had booked this restaurant believing it to be a couscous one. What a brilliant mistake! The food was delicious--and I rate this highly, being used to really good Indian food in UK. First, the actual restaurant; it is well-lit, well decorated and very clean. The table linen is really attractive--simply done in creams and golds. Wall decorations OK, too. It being Valentine 's Day, the place filled up with couples who all seemed to be repeat customers.
