for a work dinner and it was the perfect mix of great eating, beautiful atmosphere and a short but good wine list. All right, I'll go back to my own money!

The Crowd: We are the youngest people at Le Café Du Marché. By far. Except maybe the people sitting next to us, who I decide are having an affair. I worry that I've made the wrong choice, especially when the restaurant dims the lights and starts singing H

I would not recommend this otherwise lovely, ever slightly secretive dining place for vegetarians. My starter was lovely but the only vegetarian main, was very basic. Prices are too high. I liked the live music.. You pay for the ambience not the food in my experience. Service was good.

brilliant eating, incredible service (especially from the manager, sophie. we were a big party, but it was a perfect evening meal. sublime salt beef, the juiciest roast lamb, crispy black bell and a particularly incredible flourless chocolate. Birthday cake. I could not recommend the restaurant very much.

Le Cafe Du Marche is located by Charterhouse Square, and is a lovely cafe hidden from the hussle and buzzle of the city. With a great range of French dishes on the menu, there is enough choice for every taste. The quality of the food is great, and the staff are lovely. On top of that while you have a romantic dinner they have live music almost every night!

What can i say, if i could give this restaurant six stars i gladly would. Have visited here on two occasions over the past year (pre-covid). The decor and setting is really romantic with a really relaxed atmosphere. The food was incredible on both occasions and with extremely polite and friendly staff I cant wait to go back. I have dined in some excellent restaurants in France and this little gem in London can hold its own against the best of them!

I recently went to lunch with a friend and approached the meal with something contempt, would it be as good as last time or would my memories be spoiled? it's been a long time since a restaurant impressed me so much. if they are looking for a healthy and authentic French regional cuisine, then it is here. hidden behind an arcade, you might think you're going over the back door. in the inner is gorgeous; hollywoods scenic designers would fight to come with a better view. the atmosphere is relaxed and measured, you will not be disturbed by loud neighbours. a short but exciting and balanced menu offers for everyone something and with the exception of two things could be customized to meet the needs of our friend of the celiac. we chose a house bordeaux to go with dinner that was like eating was great.

Set lunch is the name of the game here, but with some extra to come, if you want the beef sirloin on the grill or the lamb leg roasted, apparently not in the menu at the moment, was there a couple of weeks ago, both dishes are suggested for two, but if you are a meat fans like me, it is manageable. This time I had the gravadlax salmon to start and then the large steak with bernaise sauce, unfortunately there is no choice for the sides, only chips and salad for the steak, having tried that, I think that maybe I should have gone with the lamb, at the end a steak, even large, still a steak. A bottle of water, a glass of prosecco and a glass of Rosso di Montalcino, a less posh choice than Brunel...
