L'aragosta - Menu

Eating is excellent. service is friendly. the chief owner has led the place for almost half a century. sardinia best. you can't go wrong.

Ich bin jedes Jahr bei Max und kaum fahre ich nach Hause freue ich mich auf das nächste Jahr. Es gibt nur ein Lokal wo ich Fisch esse und das ist das L´Aragosta, aber auch die Fleischspeisen sind hervorragend. Tischreservierung ist zu empfehlen, vorallem bei mehr als 2 Personen.

Fantastico! spaghetti vongole da Oscar. tiramisu succulento. pranzo veloce ma memorabile. servizio veloce e professionale. il proprietario ci ha accolti, anche se quasi fuori tempo, con un grande sorriso. Il che ti fa sempre sentire bene a casa. alto rapporto qualità prezzo. per tornare!

eating is very good and can be recommended. unfortunately it takes very long (sat 2 hours for starter and main course) and we broke our menu because the service was very bad and slow. we were there in the next season and the restaurant was not. is actually well ignored by us. very sad because the taste is incredible.

This was our favourite on this 1st visit to Sardegna. Stopped in for lunch on a dull day; sat on a verandah and enjoyed light lunch, beautiful wine and staff who were attentive staff without being obtrusive. Lots of fish and seafood, beautifully presented. Quite...quiet though the open bar area to one side of the restaurant is popular for pre-dinner drinks and can get noisy.

very disappointed. not only because the price is too high for seafood and it is not so delicious for its money, but service is very bad. if they do not speak Italian (English only) they will forget to get menu. to make an order. even to pay. Plus..coperto .2,5o euro. has me. for what? for ask and wait menu, eat, bill, understanding?. we paid and went to eat pizza. arrivederci forever.

Ate with friends in this restaurant (managed by a foreign man, I think Swiss) for dinner some days ago. Excellent fried calamari (tender and juicy, not overcooked); good also the octopus on a cauliflower bed with mashed potato pie on the side. The pastas that...my friends ate were not al dente, so you have to ask for it. Nothing exciting though. Prices are high, like all Sardinian restaurants. The location is pleasant, but by the street... Too many tables on the terrace. I would eat there again.

We were actually quite lucky in May, as it was the first evening the restaurant had reopened after their seasonal break. The staff was still new and slightly uncoordinated. Which was actually quite amusing to watch especially when they tried to open a bottle of...wine We didn’t mind as they were very attentive and friendly. The owner himself took our order, a very sympathetic guy. We ordered the mussels as starter and the mixed seafood platter as a main dish. The seafood was fresh and delicious. We were so full after the main course that we did not manage a dessert. However the Tiramisu looked amazing And I’ll try to leave some extra space during our next visit.
