The service is really good. There are several separate areas, so it can be nice for small groups (I suppose you must book). The restaurant have a wide menu, but I always order cod. They have a wide rang of different stiles of cooking cod, I love all of their dishes.

Just happened to stumble on this restaurant, and was intrigued by the entree offering of partridge. Although my initial greeting was a bit, unwelcoming, I decided to stay and eat there anyway. I think it has a local clientele, who are used to booking reservations. Patridge was exquisite, and a good restaurant all in all.

Horrible experience. We entered because of the fancy look and wanting to have a gastronomic experience. The waiter recommend us one of their specialties, dorade with egg and a powerful red wine. If you don t know nothing about wines just say so and don t invent something completely out of the blow. Worse was the food, without taste, chewy pieces of fish, for sure not dorade. It was only a big omelette of eggs not seasoned for the exorbitant price of 21,50 euros. There are many restaurants in Madrid, avoid this one. Voir le carte

We have recommend this place to our guests, and they really had a bad experience because no one could explain them terms and conditions of the offer they’ve booked through “el tenedor the fork” since they do not speak English. They’ve got a bill that they could not understand. They were charged more than usual (2,40€ each on service which did not asked for, and so on... We have an amazing city and lots of amazing restaurants. So, experiences like this not only make a bad feeling about local people, but also contributes to degenerate Spanish reputation. Do not visit this place.

We had just gotten into Madrid, after taking the train from Barcelona, and we were very hungry. As it was very warm out, we ducked into here for an indoor lunch. It was fancier than we had planned for lunch, but has an elegant, old world charm. The food was good, but we expected a little better for the prices. We started with the traditional cheese, crunchy bread, olives, garlic, tomatoes and oil. That was fine (you really can't mess that up). My steak with wine and mushrooms was very good. The ladies had the burger, which was ok. My friend had the sliced steak, which he liked.

We have been treated in the worst ways by the waiter and the restaurant manager. The food was so bad. We asked the waiter to take our order and they ignored us for 30min before bringing some of the food so so bad and going to other tables. When we complained and asked the waiter to come he told us you can go if you are not happy . Before going I went to the manager and he said Sorry but there is too many clients he pretended not understanding english . We have never been treated this way especially my 70 years old father. Shame on them... You should avoid this restaurant, they don 't respect customers. Voir le carte

For our last night in Madrid, I was looking for a cosy restaurant with typical Spanish cuisine. I went looking on and luckily I found the plaza and the terrace, where we had a drink. I saw some plates with tapas coming and it looked very nice. I was looking for the restaurant but it was hidden behind some trees. I went over and had a look. It was very cosy and the specialty was codfish in different preparations. With the drinks, came a platter with chorizo, olives and tomato, which tasted very good. I had scrambled eggs with fried bread crumbles, onion, peppers and potatoes. Other had the asparagus. All the portions were very large and tasteful. Then came the cod. Some had it with garlic, ot...

We visited this place with my family after recommendations of our apartment’s host and looking at good feedback on the TripAdviser. We requested paella, cheese plate and wine, but the bill was more than 110 eur. First of all, the paella. When ordering, I asked the waiter whether the price of 17.82 is for paella for 2 person, he answered “yes”. But in bill we were charged for 3 person, including our 3-years old child. When we were trying to discuss it with waiter, he behave himself as he doesn’t speak English at all, only Spanish. Then, when we book the table on the TripAdviser (the Fork service), it was stated 40% discount. In the restaurant it turned out as 40% discount only for starters or...

I travel a lot. This is the first time ever in my whole life writing a Restaurant review. I wish the system allows me to give La Sacristia a negative score. Extremely disappointing service and food. Don't eat there!!! First, the waiter didn't take the order right. I ordered a beef burger, but got a Steak instead. I am an easy going guy and have no problem eating Steak, so I took it. Just a few euros more, not a big deal. Second, food quality and safety are a major concern. The Steak gave me diarrhea! Very bad one lasted for two days.
