Je n'y ai pas séjourné, mais j'y ai dîné. Le restaurant est excellent, avec une mention spéciale pour les coquilles Saint-Jacques lorsqu'elles sont de saison.

La critique concerne le restaurant. Après un premier refus pour absence de réservation, nous sommes revenus le lendemain pour un anniversaire. Nous avons été accueillis de manière exceptionnelle et le dîner était impeccable à tous points de vue. Le propriétaire de l'établissement est très sympathique et nous gardons cette adresse en mémoire, nous reviendrons ! Service : 4

Very warm welcome with impeccable service. The dishes are beautifully prepared. The oysters are presented on small white pebbles which help maintain freshness and bring elegance to the dish. It's served generously, we don't look for the meat under a salad leaf as the photos show us. Small downside, the menu is a bit cluttered, but there is a large choice. It's a shame that the vegetables take on the taste of the excellent lamb meat. This alchemy is not very happy. Overall it was a very good meal.

J'ai passé une nuit dans cet hôtel, où j'ai pris le dîner et le petit-déjeuner. Les chambres sont classiques mais très confortables. Les lieux sont très propres et bien entretenus. L'accueil est excellent, l'hôte est très agréable, accueillant et donne de bons conseils sur sa ville et sa région. Je vous invite à y dîner, c'est excellent. Ce fut un délice pour mes papilles, de l'entrée au dessert, y compris le pain fait maison. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel et si vous n'y dormez pas, allez-y pour sa restauration. Je reviendrai avec plaisir !!

3 nights with family (5 people, 2 bedrooms). Small hotel, ideally located in the very pretty town of Saint Jean d'Angely. The rooms are a little basic in terms of decoration, but functional. The bedding is of good quality and the sheets smell good of laundry. Both the rooms, the restaurant and the common areas are impeccably clean. The breakfast is of high quality (fresh bread and croissants, homemade jams, daily newspaper on the table). The staff are attentive and help to make you feel at home. We did not try the restaurant but it was full at each service.
