"This is quite simply the kind of place we all dream about finding on holiday. I live locally, so often recommend it to tourists and visitors alike. We eat here all the time. It is impossible to exaggerate just how good the food is, how reasonable the rates, how large the portions and just how friendly and helpful the staff are, in this magical home-from-home with such high standards and low, low prices. I often feel sorry for customers at the large number of touristy eating spots in this highly popular tourist destination. I know they will be usually happy with their food and service etc, but as a local, I know that what they are paying so much for, is way, way below the standards we enjoy when we go to the Tavernetta for lunch, dinner or even order take-outs to enjoy at home. Two families share the running of this eatery. The two main chefs trained and worked at the most exclusive hotels and restaurants in Venice for years, before coming home to give us the benefit of their excellence and dedication to the best standards, at reasonable costs and super service and the rest. Be smart, eat here as often as you can, whenever you can and just be glad you checked first on Tripadvisor !"

"My husband and I stayed in Martina Franca for a visit and were looking for a recommended restaurant for lunch. This Resto was closed so we used Google to find another. What luck! Garibaldi Bistrot in Piazza, where the cathedral is Garibaldi Piazza, I think proved to be a great find. The family owners warmly welcomed us. We started with the zucchini flowers (my personal favorite), which were crispy and delish. My vegetarian man wondered about his paccheri with tomatoes, ricotta and basil. We shared an Arugula salad fresh, large part that we dressed with some fantastic local olive oil and finished with an incredible chocolate torta. So satisfied that we made another lunch two weeks later, which turned out to be even better. John had the same dishes as before (why change a good thing) and I won with the zucchini flowers and the Pasta special of the day Tortello (like Ravioli) filled with Taleggio cheese and pear and covered with a Parmesan cream and truffle powder. It was Mozzafiato! Beautiful clean and beautiful rooms with the freshest food and quiet very attentive service. Would return anytime."

"se quando vengo in Puglia debbo far tappa qui non penso sia necessaria altra spiegazione sul giudizio.comunque1 pezzo di rubia gallega (W O W 6 gnumarieddi6 bombette normali (unico appunto, l emmenthal come ripieno e non caciocavallo???? chiuderò un occhio, anche due.... 1 porzione di patate alla brace1 acqua1 moretti da 66.57 euro. per me é giusto, ovvio che se uno si accontenta solo del porco esce pieno e spende la metà, ma se si vuole osare verrete ben ripagati"

"Coupon acquistato perchè ci ero già stato negli anni precedenti la pandemia. Ed avevo un bel ricordo.Coupon con quattro portate di carne e calice di vino mozzarellina con 2 fette di salame piccante- olive- 2 friselline- 2 primi piatti- uno spiedino con 2 fegatini, una bombetta, mezzo spicchio di salsiccia a testa- patate tipo alla cenere calice di vino (da dimenicare)Questo ciò che ci è stato offerto e, sinceramente, non ho molto gradito."

"Wow! What a place!!! We’ve been coming to Puglia and especially Martina Franca region for eight years now and this place is the best discovery so far. The dishes are exquisite and executed to perfection. The food is refined with a strong nod to the traditional Apulian ingredients and dishes. Their veal liver is the best I’ve ever had…I normally love it pink and when this one arrived, cooked through, I was a little concerned but when I tasted it, it was amazing…served with an apple ‘sauce’ it was more reminiscent of foie gras (guilt free) and tasted amazing. We only drink Apulian when in the region and their selection is very good. We had lunches in their garden/outdoor tables and, when too hot, in the indoor dining room and both spaces are beautifully decorated and comfortable.The service is faultless too. From food and wine recommendations to making us and our two kids feel extremely welcome."
