As other reveiewers have noted it was a relief to find a good value traditional restaurant near to the tourist areas of Barcelona. The restaurant is run by a charming man. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This was a real find, really good,simple, traditional food at a great price (set 3 course menu 12.50 Euros including a large glass of wine). Friendly service in a nice relaxed atmosphere. Located opposite our hotel, the Sant Agusti, about 100m off the Ramblas.

Don't let the look put you off!! Loved this place across from our hotel.The tapas were delicious and the wine superb but the best was the service, freindly, fast and polite and the settings lovely. . Go! Sit outside and watch the world go by..You won't be disspointed! Voir le carte

The have a set menu that was 7,50Euro and tapas from 2 to 5 euro. I got the paella and other tapas and it was excellent. The house wine was only 4euro for a medium bottle and it filled 2 1/2 glasses. I got a full meal for only 14 euro total! The place is small but not crowded on saturday.

La Morera was so close to our hotel, so we have been there for several times for lunch (had sandwiches, so unsure about the meals) or just for having beers after dinner. They are very friendly and they have delicious sandwiches. The plaça that it is located is so quiet with a beautiful church and palm trees.

My partner and I ate here twice, owner was a really nice guy. Food was very good, three course for a set amount, each time we went for the higher price option. One night I had Catalan black rice as a starter and on another briased lentils both were excellent . I opted for grillled chicken first night and steak on the second. Was amazed to see my partner eating steak and chips to. Both nights had a complimentary drink of Catalan firewater. A refreshing change from the expensive eateries on the seafron. Decor can be described as 1970's French Bistro style. Made a wonderful change from Tapas, prompted me to buy a Catalan cook boook on return. Voir le carte
