"We stopped into this small restaurant after hiking a bit of the Francigena from Monteroni D'Arbia and we were hot and exhausted! The hostess found us a spot in the shade and, when the sun shifted, she even moved our tables under the shade of a tree at the front of the property, where the view of the Tuscan hills was magnificent as we feasted on salads accompanied by a delicious wine and ice cold beer. The salads were refreshing and paired local lettuces with fruit and a variety of nuts. My sister enjoyed a delightful platter of tuna paired with sliced red onion and cannelloni beans. We lazed around with great conversation and food and watched the ebb and flow of travelers pass us by as we watched the skies change before our eyes signaling an approaching storm. We will definitely be back to this wonderful place as soon as we can!!! I recommend it highly!!"

"Small restaurant/trattoria found by chance during a return trip. Very nice and familiar atmosphere, the waitress was super helpful and kind. The owner ditto. We tasted two pici dishes, both delicious. Very good schnitzel for our daughter. The prices are good considering that the pasta was excellent and plentiful at a cost of €9 Recommended"

"Locale con ampio patio per la consumazione all'aperto e gradevole vista sui colli toscani. È possibile consumare numerosi piatti della tradizione e rivisitati, preparati con prodotti locali. Le porzioni di primi e secondi sono adeguate, mentre degli antipasti sono più parche. Il prezzi sono medio alti, ma giustificati dalle materie prime. Consigliatissima a chi ama la carne tenera e delicata la guancia di vitello al Chianti."

"very nice place, fantastic service, friendly and friendly staff. We spent a nice evening full of good food and an eye for our little prince. the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. we slept in a standard but it seemed like a superior. Well-stocked breakfast, maybe I would have put more choice of fresh fruit, but for the rest it was all good! to recommend absolutely and definitely to return!"

"as every year we go to monteroni d'arbia for a mini holiday in the siena area and also this time we were for well dinners in the galera. What to say if not all superlative! we were in because this time we brought my mom and she also confirmed what I say and write for years in my previous reviews. we ordered, the first evening first thing a ciaccino oil and oregano to tease, good and fragrant , then I ordered a fried of only calamari , which say exceptional is say little, abundant, well fried, calamari very soft dish suggested then a cut with porcini mushrooms also this superlative, and to follow a plate of pici with porcini mushrooms and pancetta of cinta senese. Saturday night instead we ordered a pan of mussels, clams and prawns with croutons, a tasty soup that I got with pleasure, my mother a great risotto with mussels, prawns, scampi and clams made well cooked just to the tooth and tasty and my partner took the peas to the hall with the burrata, as well as these fantastic! !. the burrata contrast dissolved in the tomato was something unique! to finish in sweetness we wanted to taste the Tiramisù al limoncello, a new version that surprised us, excellent and creamy and the cake of the grandmother who served us warm, a enjoyment. we must also thank Elizabeth because she delighted us at first dinner with a delicious ciaccino, we also thank the chef paolo very good who knows how to combine traditional Tuscan dishes with innovative dishes! plentiful dishes and stuffed very well.
