"We parked opposite and as you look across at the restaurant in the dark the twinkling lights made it look welcoming. We had a warm greeting, with menus given and our drinks and food order taken promptly. We chose to share the warm breads and Chateaubriand. The breads were scrummy and so warm, felt like they were just out of the oven. And the Chateaubriand was out of this world…..it came with sauces, mac’n’cheese, onion rings, garlic mushrooms, chips and a rocket salad. It was all incredible and will rank as one of our best meals out ever! The service was subtle, friendly and attentive and the playlist was great. Thank you for a really lovely experience."

Food was fantastic. Had tapas upstairs. Lovely setting with excellent service. The lads in charge couldn’t do enough for us. My wife loved it The cocktails were amazing. Can’t wait for our next visit

A great Mother's Day lunch at La Luna with really brilliant food and attentive, friendly staff... Kate does a great job of making everyone feel welcome. It's a real pleasure to eat at La Luna in a very relaxed atmosphere. I would recommend La Luna to anyone especially for special occasions.

we went to the la luna for lunch today, for the first time for about 4 years. the last time we had dinner there, the meals were really nice, this time good, how can I put it? Oh, yeah, terrible! the starter was burned around the edges, mushrooms over boiled. the net came swimming in what looked like brown dish water, that was the pfefferkorn sauce. steak hard and boiled again, like a piece of shoe leather. absolutely not edible! disgusting meal!

Had high expectations after seeing photos on Instagram. How disappointed were we. Mother’s Day lunch food was lukewarm warm, meat underneath cold!!!! No extra gravy offered and after eating heard a waitress asking another table any extra gravy!!!!! Asked for more roast and mash as only had 1.5 roast potatoes and one spoonful of mash each. Only to be charged £10 for the extra portions, surely we should have been told that these were an extra charge. Will definitely not be visiting again, absolute rip off
