"this place we can classify it in a phrase: Top appearance, flop substance! seems to be in a michelin star club but then you realize that they put the good dress, make up and the top hairstyle at a simple restaurant. the environment is beautiful with that floor that shows you the Roman domus, the furniture and the tablecloth very beautiful and with pieces of design, the menu very nice, the water cards, beautiful and wide wine paper, sommelier very prepared. homemade bread (bread to change. they were all dried excellent appetizers (the egg really a pleasure while the first was a risotto with Parmesan (the truffle did not even feel given the amount of cheese the second of fish without praise and without infamy, good sauces but the fish had not been well treated. That's how sweet. the waiters though very attentive and kind, run back and forth ruining a bit the atmosphere of tranquility that the place should have (maybe renouncing also to some table of tavern,) but the thing that has had the worst impact is the chef who is ocited several times towards one table explaining the dishes and asking if everything was appropriate, cultural tour of the domus and finally sat at this table. You're waiting for yourself at a club like that. If the chef comes out he does it for all the tables and maybe avoid turning under the glass floor if there are people sitting at the tables above. Maybe a category choice should be made. superior or standard"

surprising place, with ancient structure and with glass floor that allows you to see the old floor and the distribution of the rooms. dishes are imaginative: from rice spaghetti with clams to an excellent vegetable composition. I mean, it's a restaurant and not a trattoria. the wine card is infinite! the price is suitable for quality and service, with very impeccable waiters. recommended!

A group of 4 of us got the 5 course meal with beef tartar, steak, and a dish with raw duck egg. I got food poisoning and got really sick for 24 hours. Would not wish that on anyone as it was absolutly horrible. Another person got sick in the group but not as bad as I did. No one in the group really liked the taste of the food. The service was great and the concept was neat with seeing the ruins. Wine and dessert were good. Voir le carte

unique restaurant in its kind and experience both visual and wonderful culinary. you dine under stone vaults and over the mosaics of a Roman villa. Gourmet menu and attentive and professional service. More than satisfied. prices in line with the high level of the room. for a special evening. upstairs, on the noble floor of the palace, elegant and frescoed rooms for events. in the center of asses, a stone's throw from the sanctuary of the strip.

My wife and I were looking forward to our meal, based on prior reviews. Unfortunately, we may have been there on an off night, as our experience was mixed. The setting was stunning, a glass floor over Roman ruins, and the ambience was fine. Our initial service was attentive by a more senior waiter and the sommelier, but mid meal we were clearly turned over to an earnest but clearly inexperienced server. Our meal courses were very uneven. I found my “Egg Confit” app to be superb, but my wife’s smoked eggplant app was not that great. She had the pasta with white truffle special, which was surprisingly not that aromatic, and my local lamb was well prepared but the cuts of meat were only so so....
