"On a walking holiday in Switzerland we decided to give the restaurant a try as it was directly across the road from our hotel and we both love rosti.We shared the casserole of mushrooms to start, they were served on a fondue stand to keep them warm and were delicious. The cream sauce was not too rich, but really flavoursome and seasoned perfectly. Plenty for two people. The rosti were both terrific. The light rosti had loads of spinach, and was perfect for a vegetarian. The other we chose was called a vegetarian with aubergine, courgette, but I opted to remove the cheese and I added spinach, none of which was a problem. Both had lovely crispy bottoms and were the perfect size. Service was fun, fun fun! I would definitely recommend this restaurant."

Family holidays in Villars. We had lunch 3 times at la Gourmandine. Menu limited but delicious (pastry, crepes, burgers, salade.) Welcoming, spotlessly clean, attention to detail for plates and deco. Our favourite place. Brunch/breakfast also available.

In the center of the village, close to the train station, perfect brake after a ski day. Few seats outdoor when weather is nice. The owner and chef prepares excellent crèpes with home made chocolate, or with ham and cheese. Not to miss the Mille feuille!

The cafe has changed hands and now operates as a tea room. The quality of cakes, croissants etc is very good and prices are normal for Villars. Crêpes, quiches and other savouries are also on offer. Pleasant service and comfortable surroundings. Worth a visit! Voir le carte

i like it the food its very very nice and yummy. good for family and with a lot choices of crepes i bet the children love it too. we enjoyed this restaurant every time we visited villas sur Ollons. nice service, good food! tried also the rosti and tartar other than crepes. very nice

Very well run cafe, just opposite the Hotel Golf and Spa in the centre of town. We ate outside on the teracce, they have a lot more room inside. The cafe has been well designed in keeping with the mountains but with some modern twists, The food we had was very good, they offer light lunches, crepes, ice cream etc. Staff freindly and effiecient.
