"A unique fish-themed evening We came here on a Thursday evening in August after some deliberation, reading between the lines of the TripAdvisor reviews. After a couple of phone calls explaining their ‘unique’ menu choices we booked a table. Upon arriving we ordered a pleasant voignier from local winery, Bauci, for €24 enoteca price €12.50). Our daughter had the homemade pasta with tomato sauce, a good provision on their part as she wasn’t obliged to have the set menu. As their website says, you are obliged to have all three starters €30 for the three) which change every day, depending on the fish caught and the imagination of the chef. A bit of a strange idea, but if you’re ok about being told what to eat, ok about spending €30 on antipasti and like us you’re not fussy about what you’re eating and willing to experiment, then all is good. In fact all three antipasti were very tasty. The orata cooked with potatoes and lemon in a plastic bag was a nice start. The squid and courgette soup was surprisingly good and the third, a courgette flower stuffed with monk fish the best dish of the evening. At this point you can then decide what to have next. 1 or 2 starters, €10 for 1 or €15 for 2) with or without a main course €15). We went for one starter each and one main course as there was only 1 choice of main course). The 2 pasta dishes, one with clams and mussels and the other with tuna were above average. The one main course was sea bass with aubergines. The sea bass unfortunately was still raw inside. The bill came to €132, which for 2 people and 1 child having a plate of pasta with tomatoes) was rather expensive as we knew it would be). Overall though we had a pleasant evening. The dishes were mostly good and although the price was fairly high, we felt it was worth it as a treat. Dal Cacini have created a unique experience and if you just go with it you are in for an evening that is definitely not dull!"

"My husband and I were guests of an inn nearby and as half board they had recommended this trattoria, affiliated with them. We couldn't make a better choice! we were their guests for three nights and each time we ate better than the previous one! plentiful courses, surely you get up from the sazi table! we met the chef and congratulated us for the care in the dishes, some of the tradition and others with a visible commitment in the refinement of the combinations. the staff has always been very courteous, punctual and welcoming. the owner is really an exquisite person, always ready to meet every request. excellent value for money. local pet friendly, they have welcomed our hairy friend without problems! I never thought I’d find a place where “you can’t wait to come back” and yet it happened. highly recommended."

"Cibo ottimo! Cortesia e gentilezza! Tantissime possibilità di scelta per chi è celiaco. Per la prima volta mi sono sentita alla pari, come se la mia celiachia non fosse un problema! Ho trovato opzioni su tutto, persino sui dolci, con l'imbarazzo della scelta! Ho consumato un antipasto di salumi e formaggi, i falafel, il cinghiale e un buonissimo dolce al cioccolato (mollone). Ma ho potuto anche assaggiare il tiramisù di mio marito! Grandi! Tornerò sicuramente appena possibile!"
