"I went to visit family in Kelheim and was taken out by my folks for a half English-German lunch. The decor at Il Porcino is a little rustic, which is to be expected in rural Bavaria. But you are not here for the decor, but for the food. If you are not a local, the place is a little bit out of the way, but well worth coming to just for the food. In the summer you may need to book I table I was told by my mother. The pizza is amazing and thin crusted. Lots of different flavours. One of the best I had in this part of Bavaria. We also had starters and dessert, which were great. The staff is very friendly, even when it is busy and we managed fine in German as well as in English. Thank you!"

"Ich war zum ersten Mal im Piccolo da ich auf Besuch war. Ich wurde von einer sehr freundlichen und netten Bedienung begrüßt und zum Tisch gebeten. Dann kam gleich die Karte, nach einigen Minuten wurden die Getränke aufgenommen. Anschließend die Vorspeise und den Hauptgang. Zur Vorspeise: Gurkensalat mit Hausdressing , sehr frisch und das Dressing sehr lecker und empfehlenswert! Zum Hauptgang: Burito mit Meeresfrüchten und Zwiebeln und Paprika, mexikanisch im Geschmack und definitiv eine Empfehlung. Sehr lecker und bisschen Scharf also wer es mag dann zum Burito Gambas. Fazit: Großes Lob an die Küche denn Sie haben auf den Tellern alle Erwartungen übertroffen und mit viel Leidenschaft die Speisen zubereitet. Ein weiterer Dank an die Super freundliche Bedienung war sehr angenehm und man fühlte sich als Gast wohl und umsorgt. Schade das es nur 5 Sterne gibt , hätte gern mehr gegeben. 10 Sterne !!! Dankeschön, ich werde wieder dem Team vom Piccolo ein Besuch abstatten."

"The staff is very friendly. The pizza quality has unfortunately become worse. 7cm edge where nothing is occupied. Earlier in the Kelheimer Bergpizzeria, the pizza baker was much better and made really big pizzas with a lot of cover. Prices have now also increased significantly (the current location). The 3 stars are for the really friendly staff. I got pizzas in Rivera. 2-3 cm edge, where nothing is occupied, is still okay. But not up to 7cm!!! I always make a pizza. The pizza is still covered up to one centimeter on the edge. Unfortunately, it tastes better than any other pizzeria. I'm sorry. I want the quality of the pizza occupancy to be improved again. The Rivera in Riedenburg tastes a thousand times better. Maybe you should get in touch with them and try the pizzas yourself. If Riedenburg wasn't that far from me, I would order my pizza there. All right. In any case, I expect a really good pizza with such nice and friendly staff."

"Würde jetzt sagen...normaler Biergarten. Ich hatte den Nizza-Salat. War lecker. Das Dressing war gut abgeschmeckt und war eine Portion zum satt werden. Vom Baguette, daß es dazu gab hätte es eventuell 1 Scheibe mehr sein können. Ich denke aber auf Nachfrage bekommt man sicher noch etwas. Bedienung war super nett und aufmerksam. Da hat man gemerkt, daß ihnen Gäste bewirten echt Spaß macht. Meine Begleitung hatte die hausgemachte Sülze mit Bratkartoffeln. Da hier auch alles aufgegessen wurde, gehe ich davon aus, daß auch diese sehr lecker war. Einen direkten Parkplatz habe ich nicht gesehen, aber man kann gut am Straßenrand parken. Die Preise sind auch angemessen."

"So first, every cake I have so far picked up is very tasty and also the staff very friendly. For breakfast I have to say that there is until 13:30, we were there at 11:00. A bread basket, however, consisting only of brown grains. I was told that we are already too late and there are only these remaining mammals. Too bad, because these little ticks are pushed back. The plates are pretty rich. But what I find personally exaggerated for crazy is for a minimum small bowl of fresh cheese, which is not enough for 3 half dolls to demand 2.50€. I see the need for measures either in the amount or at the price. The café has also come very in the years, a complete refreshment, as other Kelheim gastronomy has imagined, would certainly also include itself well."
