Korykos Turkish Restaurant Meze Bar

The meal was awful. Service was mediocre. Very disappointing as I had heard this restaurant was exceptional . However this must have been before it opened again after lockdown.

Real gem of a restaurant The staff were really friendly The food and wine were excellent I had the beef steak and others in our party had the chicken Sweets pretty good and to finish off a coffee Great views over the harbours

At first i must admit i was hesitant however after going inside the experience was amazing. The bartender offered me the menu but i already knew what i wanted. After placing my order he offered me Turkish tea, which is the best tea i have had ever. I would recommend this restaurant for sure. Voir le carte

Called the restaurant and was given great service from the start I had a few questions about the menu and he was happy to explain to me and accommodate changes. Gave us plenty of chilli sauces and bread on the side, Meal was enjoyed by all the family and the friendly service was the cherry on the top thank you

I went out for the evening with my son, so after having a few drinks at the pub, we decided to go across the street to Korykos. We were warmly greeted and escorted to our table. We both ordered the mixed grill, which was accompanied by a delicious bready vinegar dip and the meats were very tasty. The lamb shish, in particular, was excellent. The service was attentive and polite. We plan on returning soon.

I had an amazing first visit to Korykos last night for my birthday dinner with my family of 7. I was impressed by the bustling restaurant and great atmosphere. The owner and staff were friendly and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. We opted for the Party special, which allowed us to try a variety of dishes from the menu. I will definitely be coming back to Korykos in the future. Voir le carte

What a horrible birthday experience We called this restaurant beforehand to ask if their restaurant is wheelchair accessible they said yes . Unfortunately, when we turned up we found out the hard way . This restaurant is absolutely not wheelchair friendly, even their service was atrocious unfriendly they didn’t even try to accommodate our wheelchair or disability needs. Additionally, the food was overcooked , tasteless and wasn’t freshly prepared. Overall We had the worst birthday lunch and definitely wouldn’t consider going back to that restaurant again.

What a fabulous night we had at Korykos. I wore a lovely pair of cream jumbo cords from Next and I paired those with a crisp white shirt by George at Asda. I was there with my family (pictures uploaded) to celebrate my engagement to the love of my life Roger. On entering the restaurant the waiter removed my jumbo cords and socks and proceeded to wash my legs and feet, it was glorious. I have never received that type of service anywhere. We were then carried to our table where drinks and nibbles we waiting. The food arrived swiftly and piping hot, i ordered meat. On finishing the meal I put my jumbo cords and socks back on snogged all the waiters and done a runner. 10 out of 10, great night.

We used to bring our family to this restaurant all the time and would drive from Wimbledon specifically to do so as we enjoyed the atmosphere, customer service and food. unfortunately, all three aspects have really gone downhill. We recently moved back to the area in Dec 2021 and were really looking forward to going back to our favourite Turkish restaurant but we were really disappointed. Firstly we tried the takeaway and they got our order drastically wrong, we ordered a mix grill for two people what turned up was not even enough to satisfy a child's portion.
