"Food was good, good presentation and taste but unfortunately the front of the house didn’t keep up with the hard work of the chef which is disappointing. At the second course as we were still eating, one of the staff members took the plate in front of me to start with. Secondly, the sommelier came once to our table then forgot about our table as a bigger table was the focus of the night for the whole staff members. We were waiting for our wine all evening although we were asked three times if we wanted more drinks and said yes. All in all we felt forgotten in our corner table where was the place to drop the plates for the front of the house and didn’t feel like we were in a Michelin restaurant which is a shame."

Clean sophisticated environment, and the tasting menu was amazing. A couple of dishes actually had us giggling at how good they were. We ate at several outstanding spots during our holiday in Spain, including highly rated Michelin restaurants, and this was our favorite.

We booked this for our 42nd wedding anniversary. We have had many celebrations over the years in different Mitchellin Star restaurants. This is definitely in our top 3.. Fantastic food with great wine paring. The staff were friendly; young and enthusiastic. A fabulous lunch. Couldn't fault it Fabulous experience. Voir le carte

It is a nice cosy restaurant, rather small in size .The food is nice and the servers are very friendly towards everybody , polite at the same time .One noticeable thing was there was a big fly next to the window where we were sitting , movinhg around . We did point it out to a member of the staff. Must admit, never experienced that in any of the fine dining Michelin star restraurants in other parts of the world and we have been to quite a few .However, overall we enjoyed the evening.

We dined at several restaurants in San Sebastian and had expectations that our dining experience at Kokotxa de Dani Lopez would be the highlight of our holiday. Unfortunately we were disappointed overall. While we could politely describe enjoyment of the main courses their visual appeal exceeded their flavor. We cannot politely describe the appetizers. The highlight of the meal certainly were the dessert items. Each was prepared beautifully and were enjoyed. Overall, we regret dining here though as San Sébastien offers so many dining experiences that offer superior flavor and ambience. Last, we offer highly positive feedback for the excellent staff. Their service was superior to the food the...

"The economic version of M. Berasategui in Donostia. An old cider house converted and aesthetically updated. The tasting menu is highly recommended € 105 without drinks Attentive and professional service. A succession of little delicacies; Appetizers, salad, eel all i pebre, scallop, deconstructed carbonara, hake, sirloin, two desserts and petit fours ... Menu details in the photo A great tasting menu! And taking into account that the mother house is set at € 300 also without drinks, it is a good way to get to know Martín 's kitchen in a cheaper version but no less interesting ... From my point of view totally recommendable. Also, if you don 't want or can 't ... the bill to go off with your drink, on the wine list there is a section of 16 excellent wines at € 16 that allow you to enjoy the menu. The restaurant is not central but can be reached even with a city bus! The 33 for details! That said, an option to try Michelin-starred dishes at a very reasonable price.
