An amazing area with remarkable atmosphere if you are yearning eastern food. I had udon and shabu shabu which had been tasty however the quality was the green tea ice cream! The flavor is so real and gives you an explosion of green tea flavor! splendid carrier and the waitress turned into sporting a kimono so thumbs up for that!

Great! Very Japanese in service, ambience and food quality! We ordered 2 boats from sashimi and one of Sushi and both were amazing. Special mention of the Matcha Dessert combination. And bonus point for the service maybe I am too used to...German restaurants, but in Kicho, you only make eye contact with a waiter and 2 seconds later they are very polite to ask what you want. Would definitely go back!

sushi of quite high quality - not to be challenged. very large selection of very different hot or cold meals. the service forces, however, felt a bit strange. there were too many places and stood behind the most of the time and bored. a young man observes our table for a long time and did laughing with another man who bored you in Japanese - quite unpleasant. At some point a waiter activated the air conditioning system (for inexperienced reasons, had only about 18 degrees) so that we had to freeze with a jacket within a short time. tasty eating but not so great culinary highlight that I want to go again. good Japanese food, but the service was not at Japanese level. an order has been forgotten, a false written and instead of apologising we were taken as guests. there are better japaners in stuttgart who have a much better price/performance ratio!Good japanese food but the service was really bad. they wrote down the wrong order, forgot one dish, mixed up starters and main dishes (one friend was already done when i got my main dish). after that the waiter got mad at us and didn’t even apologize.There are many other japanese restaurants in stuttgart with (japanese style) service and high quality food. i don’t recommend kicho.

Overall, Kicho is a great starting point in Stuttgart for Japanese food. You get excellent products prepared by experienced chefs. A look over the counter to the sushi master shows a lot. Amazingly, in Kicho, both high culture and light tendencies cross to typical Asian snacks. The menu has rather character of the latter and also simple cardboard lids destroy something the great ambience and class mood when it stands together with traditional partly handmade porcelain. As already mentioned, the beverage card could also get more character if there are some westernly shaped mass products. Instead of a long list of soft drinks, a more pronounced tea selection would be much more interesting. Fin...
