"I booked this restaurant weeks ago for our Christmas meal. Today the day before our night out I recieved a message saying sorry you cancelled your booking! I DID NOT CANCEL!!! I called the restaurant immediately and was told they are too busy to talk...to me. This made me very angry and I demanded to speak to somebody for an explanation. Eventually I was told that a large booking had come in so they were sorry but they had to cancel mine. Totally unacceptable. They were more interested in a large booking to make more money and have let me and my friends down. We now have nowhere at such short notice for our Christmas meal. Avoid this restaurant if you do not wish to be let down at the last minute. Terrible customer service."

This spacious Turkish restaurant is perfect for dining in or taking out. You can place your order over the phone or schedule a delivery. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious.

Discussed about hair in my plate. Lack of customer care and assistance. Puting phones down once you complain. Looks like really stupid people there. Anyways review will do it's job. Take care people.

what can we say!!! the Hummus star was divine. so fresh and different from a supermarket version. the main course, of a mixed lamming shish, was divine. size, very large. service hospitality great. they would be hard to find a better Turkish kitchen. Thank you.

Ordered take away tonight, phone service good, time taken to prepare meal good and food was yummy. However portion size compared to the price you pay is ridiculous. They are very expensive for very tiny portions, so much so that I would say it’s ripping...people off. As much as I liked the food I won’t be returning

We ordered from the takeaway menu. This was our first time although the restaurant is only close by and we’ve never visited. We ordered the kebab combination and taramasalata. It was delivered early but that was no problem. The meal was accompanied by bread, rice and...salad. Couldn’t fault it and this has wet our appetite to dine at the restaurant as soon as ends!!!

Customers for years and we won’t order again. The rice in each of our kebabs tonight had stroke inducing levels of salt. Upon the order being resent, take a look at the pic, for kebabs over cooked, soggy chips. Our original...salads were ruined as we had mixed with the salad before eating. This place always makes small errors with takeaways, which we have swallowed in the past, literally at times. The way an inedible order was handled tonight and what was resent was an absolute disgrace and totally unacceptable. **** never again.

"Visit with friends. Arrived and the restaurant was very empty at that time of the evening. Shown to a table that had been allocated to us. Asked if we could move to another and I was initially given the impression that that might be difficult. Just to say again that the tables were allocated rather than reserved. Another customer was making a similar request and after some back and forth we could both move. Not the greatest of starts. This restaurant specialises in Punjabi cuisine. That is what attracted us in the first place when reviewing the menu online before we booked. Starters were of a generous size but rather stodgy. Perhaps more filling for a starter than you might expect particularly if you had ordered a main course and were intending to have a dessert. In contrast my wives dessert was very small for the price charged. The main courses were very spicy even though we requested mild. I appreciate that is a preference on our parts but my wife felt the same. We went with a friend who was visibly sweating. He comment on his main fish course was that under the spice it was a little bland. A lady I took to be the owner asked if we were enjoying our main couse? We commented on how spicy they were and asked for some yoghurt to cool them down. This was supplied with no issues and in fact my wife's prawns (only three found sadly) and my lamb main course were taken back to the kitchen to have I assume some of the chillies taken out or additional yoghurt added. This was done very politely and efficiently. Just to add we have absolutely no issues with regional food differences whether they may be. Perhaps our preference in this instance for less spice takes away from the experience the restaurant seeks to give. However requesting when ordering a mild version, and when asked what we preferred as well, makes the customer right. To drink. A beer for me and our friend. A cranberry juice for my wife which apparently tasted like a squash. Service left something to be desired as well I am afraid. On our initial table three menus supplied. On the second only one and had to ask for two more. Table wiped down after our main courses but only one corner? Had to ask several times for the bill, having asked the lady above who dealt with the spicy food issues. In fact she was eating her evening meal behind us with other customers and jumped up and apologised when she realised she had not let us have our bill. The waitress who we dealt with initially about our table allocation asked at the end of our meal if we had enjoyed it and if we would return. Afraid we said no to both. We had a mutually respectable conversation as to why not and discussed the issues above and others. So a disappointing evening I am afraid. However this is a true reflection of our experience from our perspectives."
