"We stayed here for 1 night and wish we had booked for longer. It's off the beaten track but a hidden gem. Check in with Donna was super friendly and she showed us to Room 6 which was gorgeous and incredibly comfortable fabulous nights sleep. The bar has a huge open fire which is a cosy and sociable space, good drinks choices and delicious food in the restaurant. Recommend the baked Camembert and Steak and Ale pie. Service excellent thanks to Ben, Patsy and Hannah and the breakfast the next morning was fabulous and there was plenty of choice. A half mile walk to the beach blew away the cobwebs although we couldn't get back to the hotel as it's that good. Loved it and can't wait to get back."

"Not much open for food in Seaton mid December on a Sunday but we'd eaten in here before, and enjoyed it, so thought we'd try again. All table service, which was friendly and efficient. Nice choice of real ales and cider and a good menu. We both opted for the beef burger and added bacon and cheese. It came with lovely chunky chips and a salsa and was well cooked, hot and delicious. Would definitely recommend and eat there again when in Seaton."

"From the minute we walked into the building we were made to feel welcome. Donna greeted us and she was friendly and helpful. The decor is lovely and everything is spotless. David came over to take our drinks order and he too was friendly and welcoming. The menu has a great variety of options available and no matter what food you enjoy there is something to suit. You can see through to the kitchen and it is immaculate, the chefs are obviously happy and produce some absolutely delicious food. The whole experience was fantastic, staff are happy and enhance your time there, atmosphere is great. We have already booked our next visit,."
