"More than top! location: 10/10 vignacastrisi is the perfect compromise between the best known and the best to discover; inserted between a series of beautiful villages is 5/20 minutes from the most beautiful sea of the salento (port miggiano, castro marina, the green cave, port badisco, tricase port etc.) and charming villages. the bnb of rocco is beautiful, built with passion over the years, garden with centuries-old olive trees and pool, a restaurant of level and small but comfortable and functional rooms; in particular our with a beautiful and large terrace garden and pool view. restaurant : excellent price ratio. dishes cured with fresh produce, very good wine selection, ok service with a touch of fantastic fraternity. hospitality : super, we felt immediately more than at ease, buzz is really an exceptional host. available and elastic to make the stay of the guests ideal. he made available boules with ice glasses and corkscrews to drink our wines on the terrace, he satisfied the request of an overhanging egg with a little cheese in the morning as well as croissant cappuccini pastries water ham cheese hot bread etc. all considering that it hosted us in his bnb for 3 nights of which two with a wonderbox, it is not from all. special mention: one evening at the restaurant there was a confirmation, we became almost invited added, wonderful people, evenings to remember. "Tornare alla Gattamora è un piacere per il palato e per lo spirito! Dal polpo, a ciciri e tria (un piatto tipico), gnocchi con crema di peperoni (delicatissimi e deliziosi) i piatti della tradizione, qualcuno con una rivisitazione molto apprezzata, sono preparati con amore e passione! Una nota particolare per i proprietari che ti accolgono con il sorriso e ti fanno sentire a casa! Ci ritorno ogni anno e continuerò a farlo!"

"Once again the chef amazes. "Si tratta di un chiosco posto un una delle zone più splendide del Salento. Si mangia solo all 'aperto, appena arrivi il personale di mette a tua disposizione e ti fac sentire a tuo agio. Io con la mia famiglia abbiamo preso come antipasti insalata di mare, antipasto crudo (gamberi, scampi e tartare di tonno) e un tagliere dii salumi e formaggi. Poi per il primo abbiamo chiesto pasta cozze e vongole, queste erano presenti in buona quantità, la pasta ben cotta e molto saporita, aggiungo che lo chef ha utilizzato pochissimo olio e questo è per me un complimento da fargli. Come secondo invece ho dato retta alla ragazza che ci ha servito (Kekka) che ci ha proposto una frittura mista ed anche in questo caso scelta non sbagliata dato che la frittura era molto delicata. Tutto condito da un buon rosato fresco. Locale da provare assolutamente anche per gli aperitivi serviti proprio sul mare e per la disponibilità di un enorme parcheggio. Bravissimi e complimenti al proprietario Nicola !"

"So in our tour of whatever is open in SCdT in late September, or fourth and final installment from the town. And the one that comes unfortunately bottom of the last. My pizza (yes, another pizza) was fortunately not so bad, but despite our being the only one advertised as being cooked in a wood oven, you wouldn 't really know. But it was ok, not as good as the other two pizzerias I reviewed but a bargain €4. Now, Mrs D8 once again ignored previous trip advisor advice on this restaurant and plumped for the break minute steak. Which wasn 't a good idea. Hint to the chef... the clue in how long you are supposed to cook it is in the title. And if you ask the client how she wants it cooked, and she says 'rare ', maybe less then a minute would be s good idea. What actually appeared was a combination of some low grade shoe leather combined with about 40% gristle. We noticed the chef was, in fact, wearing plastic croc shoes, so one presumes he had sacrificed his best leather shoes in order to rustle up sed steak for my better half. So, if you insist on eating here, be forewarned... Pizza is the only really justifiable option given our experience of the culinary capability of the chef. And you can get three of them for the price of one horrendously overcooked piece of leather."
