"We'd heard good things about Josie's so popped in last week for a drink and a shared cake. My daughter and I both had milkshakes which were extremely nice and we all shared a cake which we enjoyed. We thought we'd try lunch there today and the food was superb. I had Josie's club sandwich, slightly pricey at £9.50 but when it arrived and I tasted it it seemed a bargain. I don't say this lightly but this may be the best sandwich I have EVER eaten, perfectly cooked bacon, tender chicken with a lovely crispy coating, garlic aoili and tomato chutney which both worked perfectly together and all on delicious sourdough bread. My wife and daughter both liked their sandwiches (though not *quite* as much as me! . We tried smoothies this time which were good. We all shared a two pancake portion of Biscoff pancakes which turned out to be huge, and we ended up bringing some home (staff were very helpful when people wanted to take food or drinks home and had plenty of containers . Pancakes were lovely and very filling. It isn't cheap but you do get what you pay for and everything we've tried has been excellent quality."

Called in here for lunch after visiting Bishops Waltham Palace. Excellent cafe/coffee shop serving nice food. Great toasties with plenty of filling. Nice friendly service, clean, efficient and no long waits. Would return if we were in the area. 10/10

Love a Josie's takeaway to bring home. This is a good service that they have carried on since Covid and I'm glad, because they don't often have space for a party of five due to a lot of small tables. Also, since we got the puppy, we can only eat outside, which doesn't work in the winter either, as they aren't dog friendly inside.

I came here this morning with my husband and daughter. They both had pancakes with bacon and I had a small breakfast. The only thing that was hot was the toast. I was not impressed as I has waited all morning to eat. I asked the girl to take the breakfast off the bill which she did. She apologised and was very polite about it. We normally go to Winchester and never have any problems. Voir le carte

Wonderful lunch at Josie’s in Bishop’s Waltham today. The food was delicious, we each had the chicken wrap. The coffees were spot on, too. Even though it was busy, the staff were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They were all so friendly and attentive and we didn’t have to wait long for anything. Also, the seat by the window is great for watching the world go by! We had a lovely time thank you.

New Josies in Chandlers Ford is, without a doubt, the top coffee shop in the area. The food is incredible with generous portions. Josie herself is always available to chat with customers. It would be great when they implement paying at the table, but I understand that it is in the works. Some tables may be a bit too close together for privacy, but that's just a small issue. I will definitely keep supporting and highly recommend this place. - David.

Visited the Chandler's Ford branch. The coffee tasted nice but barely warm and they can’t really cater for a gluten free diet so very little food choice. The GF bread was horrible. Ended up with just mushrooms and two poached eggs as the sausages and chorizo aren’t GF (why when there are so many delicious ones available without gluten??? . Waited 10 mins for the coffee and then 40 mins for the food. My first visit and my last tbh. Really don’t know what the hype is about! Voir le carte

Been going to Josies regularly every week since it opened and it was always really good but recently the service has really deteriorated. Have to wait ages to be served and if you are simply popping in for just a coffee and a chat with a friend the waitress staff have regularly made us feel uncomfortable for just having coffees!. Sometimes the coffees are just luke warm! Cafe 60 down the high street is so welcoming and they are more than happy for you to just have a cup of coffee. Our younger people used to go regularly to Josies for food but have also said it isn't as good as it used to be .

Arfter hearing all the hype about this place me and my partner decided to try it First impression where verry good we got told there were no tables for 45 mins because it was busy. The system they use to call you for your table is brilliant We were served by a young lady who was very aggy. When I forgot to order a coffee, it sempt like a massive deal when I re asked her when she came back with are other drinks It took a wile for are food to come out with was understandable due to how busy they were When the food arrived, I had ordered the chicken eggs benedic. This was extremely dry even with the hollandaise sauce (witch didn't exactly have any flavour to it) My partner ordered the pancakes...

"We love PPA and have been coming here as a family for a couple of years, since moving to Winchester. It has been a real shame that lockdown has prevented them from operating as usual it was great to go back tonight for a treat, just the two of us. The front of house greeting and service was superb, and we really felt welcomed. Drinks and food orders were taken quickly, and the waiter returned to check that the order received by the kitchen was correct (far better than risking getting it wrong). Wine was ice cold and served properly. Starters were very nice, although in our gluttony we ordered too much the Thai ribs are melt in the mouth tender meat, and the size of a small steak. Partner's lemongrass fish skewers were likewise lovely. We also ordered the tempura vegetables, which were divinely crispy and tasty and I ate too many...... My main course of coconut/cashew crusted chicken on top of mango salad was lovely, the crunch was great against the sharp fruity salad. Partner had sea bass loved it. Far too full to consider dessert but that was our fault entirely. I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent restaurant the fact that the waiter looked concerned at my not competely cleared plate (which was due to my aforementioned gluttony) and asked if everything had been OK just exemplifies how much the team cares about their customers. There was a kind, understanding smile offered when we pointed out we were completely stuffed, though! Tiny point to conform (I think) with govt regs re: COVID 19 the ceiling fans/air con were on full blast and it was freezing cold. Management sorted it out quickly by turning it down when we pointed out the temperature issue take a cardigan though. A really great restaurant with a really great manager and whole team. Such a pleasure to eat at PPA we will be back."
