Jashans - Carte

We recently moved to this part of town and are venturing to try to find our new local spots for lazy night take out.

The food here was pretty good. The lighting here is too bright therefore creates no atmosphere, especially for couples looking for a romantic night.

Lovely local Indian. Service was great, wine very reasonable. Food was really good, a shame it isn’t busier but it filled up as the night went on, recommend. Voir le carte

Order experience was awful, 17 minutes and counting as I think the lady just put the phone aside and served others! Food delivery was incomplete and the food was truly awful. Had to throw it away. Please avoid!

Stated open on website from 4:30pm went with family around 5pm closed. Stated on door open from 5pm conflicting with website. However was closed. Very poor should have stated online was going to be closed saved a trip with family had to get a taxi into town lost business won’t bother going again.

Have been using this restaurant for years and never had a problem but in the last 4 orders the quality has reached epic depths Wrong orders , food missing , bad quality, and if you ask to speak to a manager they tell you he or she is not available to handle the complaint (Saturday night Will never use them again Go somewhere else for your carry out They are **** Voir le carte

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant, but unfortunately they forgot one dish we ordered. The person I spoke to on the phone took my information twice, claiming my card was not accepted and asking me to pay in cash. Instead of charging us £80, they charged us £240. I do not recommend this place at all - they are completely dishonest. When I realized the mistake, they denied everything. Luckily, Bank of Scotland was able to assist us as they had dealt with similar issues from this restaurant before.

I traveled with two friends from the United States to Glasgow and on our way back, we decided to treat ourselves to a meal at Jashans. On the morning of Tuesday, September 19, 2023, we checked the opening times and menu displayed outside the restaurant and confirmed that it would be open that evening. However, when we arrived by taxi, we were disappointed to find a large crowd outside and were informed that the restaurant was closed and always closed on Tuesdays. It was a waste of time and money (taxi fares) - a very disappointing experience.

Dear Jashans, I had called on Sunday to reserve a table for two on Tuesday, January 31st. The lady on the phone took my booking, confirmed my mobile phone number, and repeated the details back to me. However, when we arrived by taxi at 7pm, we found the restaurant closed. We had to pay £30 for the taxi ride with no dinner to show for it. Despite Google saying you were open and Facebook stating you were closed on Tuesdays, you still accepted and confirmed my booking. Why did you not inform me of the closure and what will you do about the wasted taxi fare? If I receive a response, I may consider accepting your apology. If not, we will not be returning.
