"We had to wait for a table, but the staff kept us updated and we didn't feel ignored. We finally got a table for three people and two dogs. The menu was great and it was hard to decide what to order. I tried the haggis and cheese melt panini, which was surprisingly delicious. The scones were incredibly cheesy and flavorful. Our friend had a plain scone, but the only downside was the jam, which came in a plastic prepack and tasted more like red jelly. It would have been better if they served good Scottish raspberry jam in a small glass dish."

more friendly place to stop lunch. large menu with many choices for vegetarian and prices very reasonable. even a menu for dogs. will be next time.

A really good breakfast, lovely staff, although busy didn’t have to wait long, dogs allowed, good value, right near the canal. Would definitely recommend and will visit again

very cheap delicious food. I had suppe and potato soup, a generous portion with a huge cheese. very friendly staff. Don't let you out. it is cozy and picturesque inside. oh, and it's dog friendly, even has a doggy menu.

nice cozy and friendly eating. that was delicious. we also ordered a scenario, but they were enormous and defeated us at the end, we could only take half of the other half home. recommend another visit worth while we are up here!
