"As someone who grew up eating poke, I can confidently say this place is top-notch. We discovered Island Poké by chance while walking through Soho near Piccadilly Circus. I didn’t expect to find a poke shop here, but there it was, right in front of Kingly Food Court. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is lovely and cozy, with plenty of seating both indoors and outside. The food was excellent—I had the classic ahi tuna bowl, which included a serving of rice, nori (dried seaweed), fresh ahi tuna, and either edamame or pineapple salsa. Renalda was incredibly helpful and friendly; she truly embodies the Aloha spirit, even though she’s only been working here for three weeks. Her warm personality made ordering a real pleasure. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in London!"

I tried the miso eggplant for about £5.80, and it was absolutely delicious. The prices at this London spot are pretty reasonable. The only letdown was the surprise extra charge for dining in, which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, it would have been a perfect 5-star experience.
