It was our first experience with African cuisine. Food was delicious and spicy. In love with Injeera and zigni !!!

Modest restaurant, good food, fast and great service. Meat dishes are wonderful. Folks take time to enjoy being here.

Extremely happy to have found this little Ethiopian food place off the busy tourists path. The food was truly delicious and down to earth. We ordered the mixed plate for two and we were totally full. The owner offered to bring us more injera but...what was served on the place was already plenty. Total thumbs up!

Injeera is an Eritrean restaurant in the centre of Stuttgart. The quality of the dishes here is outstanding. The main dishes come with the famous rye-based injeera bread which you take up with your fingers and then wrap around the other components of the food....Both vegetarian and meat dishes are offered, and they taste great.

Things to know before you go--the food offering is not only excellent but quite like you would be served in Eriteria or Ethiopia. And menu prices suggest GOOD value. The restaurant is small and appears popular with locals. While we were seated immediately early one...Sunday evening, no doubt others at different times and evenings might have found no vacant table. The menu is exclusively in German and our wait person was English language challenged, though much less than we were German language challenged. Ethiopian Eritrean cuisine are quite similar, but i've never had Ethiopian cuisine that even came close to the heavenly meal i just had at Injeera... In LA, there are or so Ethiopian restaurants on a small stretch of Fairfax Blvd below Olympic, and...i tried several dishes from many of them, wondering what all the fuss was about- flavors were indistinct, even a bit muddy- genuinely unimpressive!!! My first experience with African food and it didn't disappoint. I've watched foody shows featuring African cuisine but never had the opportunity until a few nights ago. I was invited to Injeera. I had never neen there so i didnt know what to expect. Don't...let the outside decor detract from the experience. A few things up front. If you're squeamish about eating with your fingers or sharing food; well this may not be the place for you, but they do have utensils, so don't run away just yet. I made the mistake of not calling ahead to book a table for dinner at a different restaurant and of course we were turned away, even though they seemed to only be half full. I walked out of the restaurant starving and hangry when my...husband said, Look, Injeera We both love Ethiopian food so this was a pleasant surprise to stumble upon.
